As an Insurance Agent for Health and Medicare plans. UHC is what I would recommend to my clients as well as my Family members. Have had a few member services issues, but things worked out. Tiffany was amazing help yesterday. TY Karen Hurd

United Health Care AARP has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. MOST ARE ASIAN THAT SPEAK VERY POOR ENGLISH AND MOST DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE POLICY THEY HAVE SOLD ME. AS SOON AS I CAN, I AM GOING TO CHANGE CARRIERS

I switched plans from an United Healthcare to an United Heslthcare/AARP. The previous plan paid part of the cost of fillings and crowns; however, the new plan, even though it pays up to $1000.00 per year, does not cover these items. This was not disclosed to me. The irony is the plan will pay for part of a root canal, which I would never get. This new plan by United Healthcare/AARP is a disgrace; furthermore, I feel the company did not provide the information in an upfront manner. Shame on United Healthcare/AARP. Terrible product. I’ll be switching companies when it comes time for enrollment.

United Healthcare - AARP Medicare Advantage Plan 3 (HMO). I'm trying to find a dentist here in Madison, AL for my cracked tooth. I've called the United Healthcare Customer Service three times to get a list of dentists that accept my insurance. The first time I was e-mailed 7 pages of dentists in my area. After calling them, I found out that one of them accept my insurance. The next time I called, I was transferred to another customer service agent, who hung up on me. Then, my husband called and the agent said to tell them our insurance is United Healthcare Dental. If you tell them that, the next question is PPO or HMO? None of them take HMO!!!! The information they gave was useless. Terrible experience and I still have NOT found a dentist!!!

United Health Care has been my health insurance group for a little over a year. The three times that I called it was about the same medication which is a tier 3 med. I’ve tried other similar meds that are tier 1 level and they didn’t work for me which is why I have to take a tier 3 med. I have been on this same med for over 4 years now. Each time that I have called I have gotten whack information which continuously lead to me paying for something that in their guidelines should be free if the right steps were taken. Each phone representative that I talked to was nice but was unfortunately clueless on what they were talking about. They were giving me the wrong steps that should be taken 3 separate times. These customer service reps definitely need more training. Does UHC really not realize that they’re dealing with peoples lives? Once I get the chance I will be switching health insurance companies. I never had these issues with my previous health insurance company.

We are members of the UHC Advantage plan2. My wife’s doctor prescribed Metronidazole topical GEL 0.75% for her. At CVS pharmacy it was charged $122.93, the UHC search shows $96.41 for a retail chain pharmacy. Why is such discrepancy please? I wanted to send an email to UHC however there is not such a choice.

This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I currently have a fraudulent policy in my name with UHC. I have never once authorized the policy & NEVER paid a premium. I have never received any statement of benefits or any claim information. I have called customer service over a dozen times and spent hours & hours(literally) of my time dealing with this. I am either given the runaround or hung up on. THIS IS FRAUD. who is paying for the policy?? How is this even possible? I am afraid whoever is behind this has access to my private heath information. the policy is still active
