I had to fight to get a much-needed hysterectomy. I got told that I needed to have a barbaric procedure done first, which was not going to do anything for the issue, and did exactly what I told them it would do, and it made it worse. I then got evidence that it was needed, and had the doctor put in ANOTHER prior authorization, I was told it was too early, and that i hadn't filed a second appeal, but I couldn't file a second appeal because the time had passed to file a second appeal. Then they told me I had to do 6 weeks of pelvic floor therapy. If it did anything, it was only going to be a temporary fix. How do you deny someone a hysterectomy, when everything they are having is a chance for cancer and they have already been found to have precancerous cells. It's not like I'm asking for lipo, or breast implants, I'm asking you to remove my tantrum throwing uterus from my body.

Terrible. Their service department sucks. I cancelled my plan through Healthcare.gov, and yet I'm still having to pay premiums. I cannot get in contact with anyone who knows what they are talking about. I have called five times in the last week, and still no help. I feel so powerless right now. They don't even have an email to report things to.

0 is what they deserved. These company is the most fraudlent company in the USA. Please stay away, they took my olderly parent's money out of their account without any notification ( prior payment 3.36 it was autopay and now they charged them 1800 without any notification) it is elderly abuse, none of the Philipino customer agents are helpful and just read the scripts everytime you tried to explain the issue. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDLENT COMPANY!!!

They are awful! I have been on phone 3 days this week and was never told anything other than the app was pending. I was changing my RX drug card (that has gone up $100 a month over the last three years) to another plan also with United Health care. Poor customer service. None know what they are doing. Hate that I am with them!!

On my application I set the draft to be in the middle of the month. I am a teacher, I get paid once a month and in the middle of the month. All my bills are drafted from my account. They pulled 1/8/26 obviously was not a good outcome on my finances. Spoke to one agent over a phone call who said that they cant change the date due to the Texas Variation Regulation Law. I had them on the phone while I tried to search this law, that doesn't exist. Spoke to an agent via live chat, they said they could change the policy but it would charge me double? A penalty to change, wow, even though in its beginnings on my application was set for the middle of the month.

Had a patient come in the clinic for a 10:30am appt and at 3:30pm after sever phone calls from the patient and the staff at the clinic to UHC's safety first rider program and numerous run around, the patient is still here. It is completely ridiculous!!

UHC raised their copays %37.5 percent for 2026. They're just looking out for you.
