Trying to help my mom fax in her chronic condition forms. First, given a number no longer in service then 2 other numbers to "try". Then when I called back they told me to have her provider call the out of service number and gave me yet another fax mu,ber to try. Took 5 minutes just to verify a mailing address since I had no confidence in faxing this information

I put in for health care insurance on marketplace. I opted for the United healthcare care advantage gold plus. They took my $289.69 payment then cancelled my coverage at end of January for non-payment. They also tried to tell me I had coverage in January when I received nothing from them saying I had coverage. They have lied to me many times saying that they are going to return my money. This has been going on for over a month. United healthcare seems to think, the way to make money is to steal it from customers. I have had to turn this over to a lawyer. It's costing me more than the $289.69. but it's the principal of the matter. Big companies think they can do whatever they want with no repercussion. Stay tuned

I would not give United Healthcare one star. I've been dealing with them for almost a month over a prescription. I was told an appeal had been submitted, only to be told a week later that it was never in the system. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. It feels like they will do anything not to pay for a prescription. What's even more frustrating is that an alternative medication that works the same way isn't covered for the condition either. This process has been stressful, time-consuming, and extremely disappointing.

Stop the lies and deceit. Worst insurance provider there is. I wish I could give a lower score. UHC should be listed as a scam.

The card will pay for an item one week, and not pay for the same item a week or so later. The item scanner on the app? It will often say an item is covered, you get to the register and card won't pay for it. And vice-versa. If you need to deal with customer service, try not to. They really don't seem to care. Or, quite a few of them just don't seem to know what they are doing.

2 months I have been waiting for them to approve and epidural for my lower back do I can sit thru dialysis . They can't manage to get anything done.. Im lying here dying because that cant get my back looked at

Worst insurance company I ever dealt with. I have been lied to multiple times. All of a sudden they are denying meds they have always covered in the past. I was told by UHC to have my dr order 90 day supply of med to get me closer to out of pocket and they would only authorize 30 day supply. They told me to have dr send in pre authorization to fill a med they have been filling no problem, now it is denied. So my health will be affected by meds they are denying me. UHC lied to me about my policy when it was enrollment time or I would have switched companies right then and there. I have dealt with rude employees there, as a matter of fact they called me today, had me verify my info and then asked me to give them same information and when I said something about that they hung up on me.
