I went to their site after watching multiple commercials that were a stretch. I was unable to submit feedback in any way shape or form, their website told me that they had a 4.2 rating. Again there was no way to provide feedback, I could however invest, join, etc.

The client is 102 years old and has dementia. I am her daughter, primary caregiver, and I hold every ytpe of POA, including medical. She fell and the doctor wants her to be taken for imaging. She is nonweight bearing and will need a stretcher. But will United tell me if this is covered? NO. They think HIPAA somehow prohibits them from talking to me.

I called the number on my claim. I waited. I verified everything. I got a person. I was told it wasn't the right department. I was transferred. I waited. I verified. I got a person. I was told they weren't the right department. What a nightmare to just understand a claim. You're taking thousands of dollars and you can't even manage basic communication.

United Healthcare ain’t nothing but a straight rip off. I have it through my employer and it went up and has me paying more out of pocket at the Doctors office

These guys are THE absolute worst! Good luck ever getting your medications setup for shipping without them randomly canceling them. If you plan on using the Bill Pay (which is supposed to be a plus) then be prepared for your payment to NOT be processed and your utilities being disconnected. I submitted a bill payment on 2/1/26 for my gas company. Today, THREE WEEKS LATER, the payment has still not been processed and I received a disconnect notice. After spending over 2 hours on the phone with UHC the problem is STILL not even resolved and all they can say is "sorry!"

I have contacted UHC representative over 10 times within last 90 days. They are outsourced to many different countries from Nicaragua to Philippines and others. They deny me when asking to speak with someone onshore in the US making communication VERY difficult. I have contacted UHC after each time, 3 times for claim for a heart procedure was denied. Also, tried to get info on drug cost and needed to repeat myself 10 times in order to obtain cost which representative left me feeling like the info was not correct. This is disgusting and demeaning treatment as I am 76 years old and deserve to speak to someone in the US to who I understand and who understands me. Also, I keep being denied a procedure which my cardiologist deems medically necessary. Will be changing plan next year!! STAY AWAY FROM UHC!!

I have been with united healthcare for awhile now and I was told this year my medicine deductable was 440 and after that my co-pays for both my medicines would be 59 dollars a month. They told me this so I would sign up. In reality I paid the 440 deductable and went to pick up my medicine in January and was fine. Now Feb they said my medicine was 138 not the 59 dollars so I could not get it. I have copd and need it. Ming you I only get 671 on ssi after my medicare premium and can't pay 138. This should not be legal to tell you one thing and c g ange it after you are signed up and pay your deductible .
