I was charged 5 times in the amount of $396 for a service I have asked and attempted to cancel several times. I emailed support, I spoke to someone through chat and tried calling with no response. I am being charged for services I have not received and I am asking for a full refund in the amount of $1,980 immediately. I have tried canceling services on your site as well. I was matched with a provider in which there was a language barrier, no problem I understand. I explained this to customer support. After them looking for a new provider for two weeks, they matched me with the same provider! I attempted to cancel and get my money back as I had never had an actual appointment...here I stand missing almost 2k.

Horrible. Instead of billing by the session, they bill monthly, and if you don’t use one of the sessions due to scheduling issues (on the therapist’s part), you’re out of luck for the session(s) you already paid for. When is therapy ever not billed by the session? They will also lead you to believe that they take your insurance, but it’s most definitely not in network for most (all?) insurance companies. Get real therapy from a real therapist, and avoid Talkspace.

Awful experience! I don't recommend Talkspace, even more, if you suffer from anxiety as it will give you even more. First I got a nonresponsive therapist and then they messed with my plan and I ended up without a plan exactly the day I had a session planned. The experience has been so frustrating, I recommend you to look for other options.

After reading these other reviews, I guess I might be lucky in that I did have therapists that were responsive. Too bad their responses were dismissive and they consistently failed to understand my situations no matter how transparent I was. They seemed overworked, and remembered no details from any prior sessions, treating me like I was anonymous every time.

Hi, Dealing with TS and trying to get into their system was extremely difficult and time consuming. Once I selected my provider however, I was quite happy with her. She was helpful & insightful and helped me make significant gains in my own situation. But after 4 months TS said (out of the blue) I needed to choose another provider and would not explain why. Then they cut us off...but not before I got my providers contact info. What mental health provider cuts off a successful relationship without either side requesting it? I told them to delete my account. Update: TS put me back with my provider. According to them it was about continuing education for my provider. Why did she not know? She only had one other client with a similar experience. Anyway, it was resolved. Thanks TS! UPDATE: After reading all of the bad reviews...I suggest that you go THROUGH your insurance to get service from TS. Also, I would have one experience with them and watch how they bill you. I am truly connected to an excellent provider, and I understand you don't need any more problems that you already have when seeking counseling. I was very careful about getting on board with them. Their customer service is VERY SLOW....That needs to be improved ASAP!

I was barely asked about my medical history and not even given my full hour. I was scheduled with a title of doctor but got a nurse prac. I was asked very basic info and what meds I was on. They prescribed the same pills (without knowing dosage) my general prac.gives me. I could of lied and got anything I wanted Refused to let me talk after they got the basic info. They also do not allow you to know the cost upfront. I only chose them via my insurance because it said I could get an adhd evaluation. I was told by during my session that they cannot do that. Per the CDC "The diagnosis can be made by a mental health professional, like a psychologist or psychiatrist, or by a primary care provider, like a pediatrician" The whole reason I chose a psychiatrist was to 1. Get a doctor and 2. Be evaluated for adhd. I felt like this was a bait and trap pill mill.

Im retracting my 1 star and putting 5 yes an agent reached out finally and gave me my refund.

First off, I signed up for another session with my therapist or “provider” and I signed up for the weekly texting session where they answer you back multiple times throughout the week and I literally hadn’t heard from my “therapist” for the entire week. So there was no service actually provided. Ontop of that, they told me my copay was $0 with my insurance, so no money had to come out of my pocket and all of the sudden I am getting charged with a $125 bill? I am most definitely going to dispute that because I didn’t even receive any service from my therapist. I messaged her Monday, it’s Thursday. No response. Don’t use this app. I thought it was a good gateway to starting therapy but it’s not
