Mindful Living, LCSWReviews of mindful-recovery.com

Max Guttman is an exceptional mental health professional who brings deep expertise, empathy, and dedication to his practice at Mindful Living. His approach to therapy is both insightful and client-centered, providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals navigating mental health challenges. Max’s ability to combine clinical expertise with real-world experience allows him to offer practical strategies that promote healing and personal growth. If you are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable therapist, I highly recommend Max and his services at Mindful Living LCSW.

I've been fortunate to see Max for the past five months. Over the past four years, I’ve worked with a few therapists, developing a sense of rhythm based on each provider’s style and availability. Some I’ve seen for short-term transitions, like moving, while others have helped with processing and maintaining connection. Max is different. He brings a depth of clinical experience, but in a way that feels approachable rather than overwhelming—especially for those new to therapy. Our sessions don’t feel like we’re just ‘checking off boxes.’ He offers constructive advice and criticism when needed, and depending on one’s self-awareness, when necessary. His expertise allows him to go beyond a baseline understanding of my mood and anxiety disorder, making our work together more meaningful. If you're looking for a therapist who provides a space to vent, fosters sustainable change, and helps you feel more comfortable in your skin, I highly recommend Mindful Living.
