I made the change from county mental health facilities to talkiatry maybe a year ago. For decades I went to large county run places with crowded waiting rooms and long wait times. The quality of care was often suspect at best. I pay talkiatry and the county was free but the convenience and service is well worth the cost. I have an amazing psychiatrist now!!! Thank you for all that you do!!!

Dr Andrew Li and Talkiatry have helped me so much. Therapy always made me feel worse after having to talk about my depression and anxiety. I’m so grateful I found Dr Li I’ve never felt better in my 59 years.

i like how simple it is. they also accept my insurance so I pay like around $35 every psychiatry visit. i luckily got a really good psychiatrist who really cares about me and even advised me to get an EKG before starting certain medications that impact my heart rate and health. although it kinda makes me feel a bit bad about the company because they have to charge me for $250 every visit for "supportive therapy" which I was never given a head-up for, which makes things more expensive but luckily they accept my insurance so I only pay $10 extra for supportive therapy. it kinda feels like they're scamming me for it but it is what it is. i got a really good psychiatrist though. worth the risk if you have insurance IMO

I've been a customer/patient/client (?) for about 3 years or so. I knew something was off with me but couldn't figure out what and didn't know where to start to even explore this. I called Talkiatry and got evaluated, which really just felt like answering introductory questions. I eventually learned they also do therapy and switched over to a therapist here. Honestly, that has been the best part of Talkiatry. Both my doctor and therapist can view each other's notes and I feel like our visits are much more impactful because of it. I also love my doctor because she listens, is direct when she needs to be and somehow still supportive and empathetic. My therapist feels like chatting with a friend and that has helped me to open up more and speak without censoring what I share like I have in the past. If you're on the fence about calling, call. It's been the best decision I've made in the past 5 years.

I’ve been using Talkiatry since August 2024. The platform has improved over time and there are no longer connectivity issues. Billing is straightforward. Coverage during provider absences has been seamless. I didn’t have to jump through hoops or repeat myself. But what really sets Talkiatry apart for me is Dr. Van-Den-Ende. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, and he remembers details from past appointments better than I do. I have a complex, lifelong medical history, and it’s never once felt like a burden in his care. That kind of trust and consistency is rare. I hope the rest of Talkiatry’s team is held to the same high standard.
