I was hoping for help with severe anxiety and depression instead they started me on medications right away that I've taken in the past. It hasn't been working and they refuse to give me something for anxiety that will help in the moment. Instead they give me something that will only help my physical symptoms. I've told them multiple times the medication isn't working. I was diagnosed with PTSD and they still won't help or give me a different anxiety medication. Do not go to them. They won't even change my antidepressant or mood stabilizer or the current anti anxiety med I'm on, that hasn't helped for 8 months which they are very aware of. They just want to keep raising meds that aren't working

Pure scammers. They canceled my first appointment with no notice and then charged me for it.

I really wish I had checked trustpilot first. Talkiatry uses deceptive practices when telling you (both in writing and over the phone) that you are "in network". This is THEIR network. I knew this--I checked directly with my network and the therapist I was assigned to is in my insurance network--but I still received a $399 bill 2 days after my first visit. After a long run-around on the phone, they offered to re-look at my insurance information (I don't remember if I already gave it to them, or if they "lost" it). So, I need to wait 5 days for their resolution. Needless to say--do not use this service. They are dishonest in their practice around billing, and if they do not resolve this issue, I am reporting them to multiple state and federal medical monitoring boards.

Psychiatrist and Therapist were wonderful and I. have no complaints about them. The admin and billing department is another story. Started out on a payment plan that they then decided to cancel without notifying me, charged me $300 one day and when I spoke with their billing department I was told "eventually you'll meet your deductible and not pay at all....." I cancelled all future appointments from there on. Finally got a competent pesron from the billing department woh set me up on their "legacy" payment plan and started paying it down. After the first payment went through and the bill went down I was notified by a collection agency saying Talkiatry had sent me to collections despite the active payment plan. Talkitary said they don't know how that happened and to call them back 5 days later so they could look into it. Got an email later that day that said they did nothing wrong and to contact collections. Spoke to collections who said this is an error on Talkiatry's side that only they can correct. IN the end I spent an hour calling both collections on Talkiatry where they kept putting blame on the other company. Finally got collections to remove the debt and just involving Talkitary as they were doinf more harm then good. My advice STAY AWAY there billing department is incompetent.

The person I talked to told me to stop taking my medication after 40 years. She wanted me to wean off in 9 days. Then at my next appointment she told me to do TMS. They don't have any of those places where I live. So that's it! She just left me hanging high and dry! She didn't care at all. That's a very dangerous game to play. She just blew me off! This place is a joke!

Their ad says that they can do an ADHD assessment for you is a flat out lie the person I was speaking to said no we don't do that they were looking to bring me over to for therapy and not just do the assessment that I was looking for so they took my money even though they knew I was only looking for an ADHD assessment and then said due to some items they wouldn't be able to see me because I had already seen another therapist and I did not want to switch don't go with them they're horrible they'll take your money even though they know that you're not there for the help that they can give you

WARNING; DO NOT GO HERE. They are rude and not helpful. They would not verify my insurance even though they list it on their site. There has been issues with verification, so I called simply to speak with someone to explain where to call to verify and the agent would not let me talk to the insurance verification. She was really rude and just kept reading from a script. I could not even have a conversation. I tried to explain, but she just kept repeating. There are other places to go to get help. If this is what compassionate care looks like, geez..These guy are jsut awful. (FYI I am not a complainer and this is on the second review I have ever given on any company)

Miss an appointment, get several $100 late fees. This place is a joke. Causing financial hardship at a time when Im already struggling. Stay away!
