Choosing talkiatry has severely negatively impacted my mental health worse than when i first reached out. They do not care about their patients and they set you up with doctors who are inexperienced and do not listen to their patients need. Look elsewhere so you don't have to go through what i have been through with this company. I wish I never chose them. This is not a properly run company, I called over 30 times to get incorrect charges removed from my account, but their billing department does not exist. I have all the payment confirmations and have been told repeatedly by their staff that I don't owe anything but yet somehow they are incapable of removing it from my account and stopping the letters in the mail. They have waited so long to fix this problem that i received a collections letter. What would I be paying for? I'm not just going to fork over money so they stop harassing me.

The doctor was unprofessional and unethical in my session. Did nothing to help my situation and spent the entire time speaking about the corrupt industry of psychopharmacology and the government. Additionally told me the whole time about how I don’t need any medication for my issue and I can treat it with exercise and meditation. He also breezed through my suicide assessment and TOLD ME not asked me that I was not suicidal. He forgot why I was there multiple times. I have tried to speak with someone from their company regarding this matter multiple times to no avail and just received a bill which I will not be paying. I will also be contacting my insurance company regarding your unethical practices.

I really wish I could give zero stars. I have been getting the same bill for almost 3 months now. I’ve called and talked to several reps that the amount charged was not accurate and they assured me the bill was escalated and waived. I still keep getting billing statements in the mail. There’s no way this is a legit company, pretty sure it’s a scam. From looking at the other reviews, I’m assuming my guess is correct.

Filled out a form online, got a call to verify my eligibiity, and made an appointment with a doctor (next available was 2-3 weeks away - 7:30am on a Thursday). On Monday of appointment week, got a message reminding me of ky appointment and warning me that cancelling with less than 48 hrs notice or not showing would result in a $100 charge. On Wednesday night at 7:45 I got a call cancelling my appointment (with ZERO notice) because my provider doesn't see patients in my age group (I'm in my 40s). Did *I* get $100 for late cancellation? What do *you* think? Anyway, the rep on the phone said someone would reach out to reschedule. At 10:30am on my appointment day I got an email telling me to click a link to schedule an appointment ..but it turns out that's just to reverify me again. I spent 30 minutes on that call asking for 1) my appointment to be rescheduled asap (not weeks in the future); 2) an explanation of why I was even booked with a provider who doesn't see patients in their 40s and 3) why it's okay for Talkiatry to cancel an appointment with no notice, but not patients. I'm currently an hour into waiting for a call back with a new appointment. I was told they would call me back in 20-30 minutes. This is not how patients should be treated by any organization.

I did like my Doctor, but nobody reached out to tell me that he was out of network with my insurance. The communication regarding insurance was negligent so you really don't know how much it’s going to cost until it gets processed through insurance. Some people can't afford $400 to see a Doctor, that is why I used this app. Had I known, i would've reconsidered..but I guess that's the point. The inital "pre appointment process" was a bit confusing. I got an email a week before to answer questions but i couldn't log on to do it until 48hours before my appointment. If you're going to use them, be sure to reach out to your own insurance company and ask if the Doctor is in network with them because Talkiatry will not let you know. You have to do your own research! 8/18- they emailed me back to let me know they’re re processing those claims and it was an issue with their tax ID#. I’ll update when it’s been reprocessed. 8/29- cancelled an appointment I had 2 days before (cancelled on Monday for Wednesday) and got charged $100. Super awesome.

do NOT waste your time here. I have never been treated so horribly by a doctor in my life. Dr Catherine Cashman was so unbelievably condescending and rude I left my appointment feeling sick. I do not know how she has a license... Absolutely horrible service.

I had a 1hr appt with a provider who at the end of the call claimed thay it is Talkiatry's policy NOT to treat patients with a history of psychosis. They could have told me that in an email and saved everyone a lot of time. What sort of BS psychiatry company wont treat patients with severe symptoms? She said she could not trust me over video appts because I have a history of SH and she "cant see my skin". Dont waste your time.

I was never seen ever, didn’t talk to anyone, not even once. And received a bill for 100 dollars! This is completely a scam be careful.
