Waited all day for a 3pm appt call only to not get a call but an email that said they didn't have a doctor who could meet my needs

On their home page there is a link that brings you to a list of the insurances they accept. Mine was listed so I continued with the assessment. I uploaded all of the personal information they asked for. They sent me an email with a scheduled appointment. Then after a week or so they emailed me and said they don’t take my insurance. Now they have all this information about me and I don’t know what they will do with it. Very upset!!!

The psychologist wasn't helpful and the fee for one session was $414.

My doctor was very easy to talk to, he asked me a lot of questions to understand exactly what I needed and he took his time with the appointment, I didn't feel like it was rushed at all.

I had to wait two months for my appointment. Not only did they bill the wrong insurance, but they also phantom billed me an additional 124 dollars. When I called them on it they spent 2 weeks trying to explain it away before they just told me there was nothing they could do because they don't verify services rendered with the physicians. Update: You'll notice a reply by talkiatry below trying to explain that this is normal. I should be clear that the 124 dollar charge was for "psychotherapy or supportive therapy". The definition of which was their clinician telling me that I would be receiving no psychotherapy or supportive therapy from them. Ultimately, the vp of their revenue team took care of this phantom billing issue for me. But I should have never had to raise this much of a stink to get it rectified. In addition I also have it in writing that my codes were incorrect. And I also have it in writing that the codes are based solely on what the clinician said without any kind of verification process. I was willing to let this go after your team took care of the erroneous charges, but if you're going to try and call me a liar we can start this whole thing up again and I can spend the rest of my life making sure that you recieve even less money. I will not let you besmirch my good name simply because you find it handy to do so.

Absolutely horrible service. I used their mobile application to speak with a psychiatrist about an initial ADHD evaluation. Half way through my health history interview, my psychiatrist told me I "may or may not have ADHD" and that she could not make that judgment. She then told me that I would need to seek out a neuropsychiatric evaluation which would "most likely not be covered by insurance". She did not provide me with a referral, advice, or anything remotely useful. She then continued to use our billed time to discuss my MDD, which is already managed appropriately and was not the reason for my appointment. In the end, I was billed $414 for a useless appointment - none of which was covered by my insurance despite being within network. Save yourself the time and money. This company is an absolute scam.

Talkiatry never sent me a confirmation for an appointment and charged me a cancellation fee of $100 for an appointment I never had.

They are not upfront about costs. The site said my insurance was covered. I had my first session and everything seemed ok. Then a month later right around my 2nd session I get the bill. The bill was $400. There was no insurance coverage, even though I was told they took my insurance. Then I got another bill for around $300 for the second session. These sessions are only 30mins. It's a complete rip off. I should have known it was a scam when they didn't give you any price information.
