The bike looks and feels great
The bike looks and feels great. The Mivice system with torque sensor provides a very natural ride. There is a bit of wobble from the rear wheel when turning at speed.

Ride1Up needs to provide better introduction videos to e-biking in general and their bike models in particular. Once I went to YouTube to watch other people's clips on using the Prodigy V2 and shifting a mid-drive bike, etc., the bike was exponentially more enjoyable. I now consider it one of the best purchases I've ever made. I get some much non-draining exercise and have traveled over so much of my Maine countryside. It's a terrific, high-quality bike. The battery compartment cover is a bit of a headache but, for the most part, the Prodigy is practically perfect.

Like everyone else here, I researched just about every bike there is. The look, customer reviews, and the hope for excellent customer service convinced me to pull the trigger. I’m really glad I did, because it’s great. The DRT is amazing off-road and they got the suspension perfect. I had one question while I was assembling it, and and when I called, a guy in California picked up on the first ring and talked me through it. To me, that’s worth everything. I’ve put about 80 miles on it in the past couple weeks, with about half of that being off-road on some pretty rutted out trails and a bit of mud. It really has been great and I’m really glad I made this choice.

My prodigy v2 came with a bent stem, as well as a damaged fork where all the oil leaked out, possibly contaminating the brake pads and rotor. When contacting customer service, apparently they don't have any original parts in stock, I dont mind so much for the stem after market part, but offering a fork that is 50mm more travel than the original seems irresponsible. This isn't safe for the bike and the rider. No acknowledgement on their side when I asked about brake pad/rotor contamination. We have been going back and forth via email for over 2 weeks now. All I am looking for are proper replacement parts or a full exchange for a new bike. Hopefully I can get this resolved.

Purchased a Roadster V3 bike. When it arrived and was unboxed there were several problems. Worked with the tech staff to fix some mechanical problems. The front brakes were scraping and grinding. Ride1up said to watch a video on fixing brakes and continue riding to see if problem would correct itself. The problem persisted and Ride1up said I would have to pay a bike shop to fix the brakes since they had no record of me notifying them within 30 days of receiving the bike. In other words, the company shipped me a bike with mechanical problems and said I would have to pay for the repairs. Unbelievable!! Beware!!

The whole experience has been great from the ordering to shipping to receiving my new bike. I absolutely love my vorsa.! I think it is a very well made bike and a great value.

I LOVE my Roadster V3!! I was looking for a bike that did not look like an ebike but had some extra zip to help me get around traffic. This bike exceeded my expectations! It's fast while still being nimble, it's light enough that I can carry it up and down stairs if the need arises and it looks cool! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because one of the tapped bolt holes for the optional rear rack that I ordered stripped out while trying to assemble.

The delivery process went smoothly. Assembly wasn’t too bad. Two relatively major issues I did have were: front brakes needed bled right out of the box (I had to pay a shop out of pocket) and spokes on the front tire had almost no tension in them on delivery (paid a shop out of pocket for tensioning as well). So that was about $120 dollars that I spent to have those two issues fix right off the bat. The bike itself now rides great. Shifts and pedals smoothly. Pedal assist feel basically seamless, which is impressive. Overall I’m pleased with the quality and ride of the bike itself. But those two out of the box (and pocket) issues kind of started me off with a bad taste in my mouth. I was considering ordering some after market stuff, it would be nice if ride1up gave me a credit for the $120 I paid just to get on the road. V/R Steve
