Myzone is the most inconsistent piece of rubbish. Constantly freezes, misses at least 2 out of 4 workouts. Therefore, records inconsistent information of where you are at. I waste half an hour before a workout to get it working. It shows it’s working, then does not record the exercise. Shows the spinning wheel of death, that won’t go away, so you have to close or delete the app to make it stop. Do not purchase!!!!!

MyZone was amazing after my last review on this site; they followed up promptly and courteously and treated me well. My new device worked great for a while, then I began encountering some bumps. I decided to order a new chest strap to see if that would help, The MyZone website didn't work--I kept getting a message saying their "bot" wouldn't connect. I tried LiveChat twice--no response. I got the chest strap elsewhere. After several misses with MyZone, I sent a note via LiveChat saying I was through with the device and the company--it was just too frustrating to try to get my issue resolved. Since then, I keep getting automated messages saying they're sorry they missed me, they want to solve my problem, and most oddly, "Let's go ahead and solve this now, but if you have any additional comments, please reply to this email." I have no idea what this means. All I know is that I seem to be caught in a loop of nonsensical automated responses, and I have no idea how to stop them. Update 11/9--Well, my device failed after just under six months, MyZone was nowhere to be found, until they responded to this website Sorry, MyZone--I appreciate your finally responding to me, but I'm over MyZone. I've moved on, so please don't trouble yourselves to issue a very tardy respone

I have been using my belt for over a year when cycling, both indoor spin and on the road. What I cannot understand is why the 'calories burned' number for each activity is at least double what comes up on a gym spin bike or my Garmin computer or Strava?! (today 3,200 vs 1,580). All of these devices have my personal data (age, weight, height, fitness level, max HR etc). I did contact the company to ask them and they eventually came back with their standard response that their proprietary system may vary in the calculations of calories burned. I understand that but a consistent 200%+ variation when compared to other serious devices that have my personal data loaded is simply not good enough or frankly credible! Maybe they just exaggerate the calories burned to make you feel good when using the strap?! Not a good experience ...

I like the product itself to help me stay on track with my fitness goals and assess how much effort I put into my workouts. I’ve only used it a handful of times so far and it seems pretty accurate in terms of how much effort I put into my workouts etc. It has been helpful and easy to use. The only issue I’ve noticed as of recently is that it keeps splitting up my workouts. For example if I do a 1 hour workout it will show on the app as two workouts of 30 minutes? I dislike this as it gives me two different sets of statistics so the averages are not accurate. This is quite disappointing, my partner also has the same issue with their myzone belt. For this reason I give 3 stars as it almost ruins the whole point of us using the product.

If you have a Myzone Switch; which is advertised as fully waterproof; then take it in the pool before the warranty expires. Mine died the instant I took it in a pool. It is out of warranty, so Myzone won't replace it. I only have one because a group of friends use them in a social group. Next one goes in the pool as soon as I get it. Edit Following the reply from Myzone. I would point out that their support also said "it does appear that you have been following the correct steps to care for your device". and the cost of a new one purchased using the £50 voucher and including a high postage charge is higher than buying one from my sports club so the voucher is of no use.

Waste of time and money! MyZone doesn't work properly! My pod continues to lose lots of workouts. Very disappointing to see it hasn’t recorded properly when I have been working so hard. Mine has never worked properly, especially when using the wrist or arm strap.

Waste of time and money! I was in contact with MyZone Support several times for 3-4 weeks, trying to get it to work properly. It still doesn't work properly! They were quick to let me know bluntly that I cannot exchange it or get a refund after 7 days - despite me reporting to them that it's malfunctioning way before that. I'm sure consumer law allows for more time where malfunctioning products are concerned

Only gave one star as it isn’t possible to give zero. Worst customer service ever. Staff don’t do what you ask and they cut you off when you try to escalate the situation. You ask for the complaints policy to be told they don’t have one! Madness.
