In the past five years I’ve bought two MyZone trackers. The most recent one lasted only two and a half years before the battery failed. In my experience this product simply isn’t fit for purpose as a fitness tracker. When I contacted customer service they suggested I try a friend’s charging cable. The unit is now flashing white, which indicates it has failed completely. I’d describe MyZone as more of a gimmick than a proper fitness tracker — it essentially only measures heart rate. Somehow it has become standard equipment in David Lloyd clubs for their Blaze classes, where people are encouraged to have their names displayed on the leaderboard. Personally I have no interest in that, and if I ever did I’d simply borrow a club device. Overall, my experience with MyZone has been disappointing. I’d recommend investing in a proper fitness watch instead — one that monitors all your stats, plays music, and displays notifications, so you don’t even need to take your phone to the gym.

Hi Jayne, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are genuinely sorry to hear how disappointing your experience with Myzone has been, particularly after investing in two trackers and having your most recent device fail after just two and a half years. We completely understand why you feel frustrated, especially when you rely on a product for your workouts and expect it to provide reliable performance over time. We are also sorry that the troubleshooting advice you received did not resolve the issue and that the device is now flashing white. We appreciate how disappointing that must have been. Your feelings are completely valid, and we certainly do not want you to feel that your concerns have not been heard. While we understand that Myzone may not offer all of the features you are looking for in a fitness tracker, we’re grateful for your honest feedback on both the product and your experience with our customer service.
