I made it to HOF MEPstar with 90 days to the next level (HOF Elite). But every time I use my MyZone Max, (which is less than one year old) the belt catches my workouts but does not upload my MEPS. I'm currently missing over 7 days of exercises. I contacted Customer service who is dragging their feet on a resolution. Over the past eight years and using different Myzone devices (upgrades after upgrades) and having to pay for each one. I have had to contact customer service a number of times, at least four. Each time has been a lengthy and frustrating process. I'll be very disappointed if I lose my status and have to start over.

Hi Lorna,
We are really sorry for the frustrating experience that you have had, especially after being part of the Myzone community for eight years and achieving such an incredible milestone with your HOF MEPstar status. We completely understand how disappointing it must be to have workouts recorded but your MEPs missing, particularly when you are so close to reaching HOF Elite.
This is definitely not the experience we want for our members, and we sincerely apologise for the time that you have spent trying to get this resolved.
Please could you reply to the email that we have sent you through Trustpilot with a few more details? I would really like to look into this personally and see how we can help get your missing MEPs sorted and get you back on track towards your next milestone. 💪
Thank you for your continued loyalty to Myzone, and again, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience and frustration caused.

I have been using Mz belt for bit more than three years untill ir naturally broke, in 2025 december I have bought new Myzone Max heart monitor, after 6- 7 months it got loose inside, so I contacted support, and it was rought jurney... I had to send broken one to Myzone, and since then already two months of support mostly ingnoring my messages, was still waiting for replacement one, untill I got email that my case is closed. So hope others have better experiance, but in my case I guess just lost 150€ because support incompetence

I would really like to help get this resolved for you. If you could please reply to the email that we have sent you through Trustpilot with a few more details, I will be more than happy to chase this up with our team and find out what has happened with your replacement.

Frustrating delays and faulty item.
Don't get me wrong, the contact I've had has been friendly and polite. My problem is that I was sent a myzone which didn't charge and upon following all of the instructions on returning it, have nothing to show for my purchase. The customer service agent has now asked for proof of postage after providing me with a free post returns slip. I (perhaps foolishly) didn't record myself putting the parcel into the postbox. Goodness knows what will happen next, but I am still without a myzone and no sign of my money back, or a replacement.

Again, I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused.

Good hardware let down by poor software.
First of all, the good: The belt fits comfortably without slipping and the MZ-3 sensor is sensitive & accurate. Live display in the app of parameters during exercise is good & post-workout record is clear with good use of colour in the graphs.
BUT then....the not so good: the app is non-intuitive with incomprehensible symbols, no tooltips or help, and over-busy screens are packed with un-configur-out-able distractions. ANY app needs either intuitive use OR a proper user manual for reference...there is neither here.
I've lost several workouts from no autosaves and the difficulty in finding where to perform this basic function. And offering a 'trim' function (to truncate a workoiut from either end) is good, but isn't a substitute for proper 'start' & 'stop' recording functions. The review functions that summarise info from past workouts are ill-thought out with poor configuration options that lead to endless scrolling. And the 'contact other Myzoners you might know' with an endless list of people selected only by living in the same country, is positively CREEPY. I could give much more detail but this isn't the place.
This is a review based on my first dozen or so uses of this (MZ-3) device. Of course with more time & familiarity some of the usability problems may diminish: some will clearly remain.
A further criticism is that (in common with much of today's new tech) the question "WHY would I want to use this and how does it fit in and communicate data with the ecosystem of other apps or gadgets available and which I may already use?" is not answered.
It (BTW, for Americans) is a completely different question to "HOW do I use this?"
Addendum 8.9.26 after Myzone response: This is as good an initial response as one could reasonably hope for, and I am appreciative of the considered reply from which it is evident that the thrust of my comment has been understood. The issue now is whether it will be followed-through on...or quietly dropped. One might also expect a good follow-up to include additional information-gathering & analysis to inform the necessary UX modifications. I do hope this happens.

Hi Stephen,
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed and thoughtful feedback. We really appreciate you highlighting both what is working well with the MZ-3 and the areas where you feel the experience could be improved.
We are pleased to hear that you are finding the belt comfortable, the sensor accurate, and the workout data and colour-coded graphs useful. At the same time, we are sorry to hear that aspects of the app have made your experience more difficult than they should be, particularly around navigation, recording and saving workouts, and reviewing your activity.
Your comments around the difference between explaining how to use a product and explaining why it fits into a wider fitness ecosystem are particularly valuable. We understand that a good user experience should make these things clear without requiring users to spend significant time figuring them out themselves.
We will make sure your feedback is shared with the relevant teams, especially your points around usability, configuration, workout saving and the overall app experience. Feedback this detailed is extremely helpful as we continue looking for ways to improve Myzone.
Thank you again for giving Myzone a try and for taking the time to provide such constructive feedback. We hope that as you become more familiar with the system, your experience continues to improve.

App is extremely buggy.
App is extremely buggy.
1) Can't search facility on iphone app, at all. just an unresponsive screen
2) App login bugs out constantly - pulls up an authentificstion login page that it immediately self closes saying "try again later"
3) should you actually manage to login and create an account, facility management is only via customer support
customer support is on multi day delay
honestly £70 and zero utility so far

heart rate monitors always break
I've used MyZone for about 9 years, and in that time I've gone through roughly 3-4 MZ-3 units plus an MZ Switch bought 2 years ago. You may ask yourself why one man needs like 5+ heart rate devices? I only have one heart after all. Well here's the issue; every single one had developed the exact same fault: the internal battery corrupts or dies and can no longer hold a charge. This isn't a gradual decline, it happens suddenly and usually without warning. The device will charge fine when plugged in, but once you unplug it and wear it (chest strap or wrist), it won't turn on.
I've always charged my devices from my laptop specifically to avoid any charging issues, and it's made no difference; the battery is just dead.
Myzone issued replacements for my Mz-3, but when it was time for my switch to develop the fault, the customer service team basically said sorry no can do it's out of warranty. Imagine working for 5+ years to receive a 'hall of fame' status on myzone, yet they only cover their devices from fault for one year?
The chest straps have also noticeably declined in quality over the years. Each replacement has worn out and become damaged more easily than the last.
Altogether I've spent around £300 on these devices. When I contacted customer service, I was told the warranty only covers 1 year, and the best they could offer was a 30% discount on a new unit. That's a poor response for products at this price point, especially when the fault is clearly recurring across multiple units and years. It's also disappointing that MyZone kept releasing new hardware in the meantime, the Switch came out more than 5 years after the MZ-3, without ever fixing this apparent battery defect.
I'll add that the app itself is well supported and I genuinely like the pace of product development, and the team behind it are always helpful when you reach out. It's just a shame the hardware quality hasn't kept pace with everything else. Stop releasing hardware when you have ongoing battery defects.

Firstly, we want to thank you for your incredible loyalty over the past 9 years. Reaching Hall of Fame is no small achievement, and we genuinely appreciate the commitment that you have shown to Myzone.

Erases Workouts Often, Bad Product
The watch erases your workout about one out of every ten times. Just pretends to upload and then doesn't, then the watch turns itself off and there's no way to get it back. Wouldn't recommend.
