Medical Guardian is a great company that we've been using for my Mom for the last several years. The device is reliable, customer service is always speedy, knowledgeable and professional. We carry the insurance on the device because my mom has a tendency to lose things. On the occasions we have needed to replace the device, we have been helped swiftly and correctly, with a replacement device delivered overnight and set-up quick and easy. Mom will sometimes inadvertently hit the call button. When that has happened, the people answering have always been patient and kind, never showing frustration or aggravation, and I know those false alerts must be the bane of their existence! But she's 88. It happens. There are all kinds of features available through an app that Mom won't can't use and they look great for someone with the ability to work with the technology. But the basics are all she really needs. I take care of maintaining info in the website and all she really has to do, when you get to the nitty gritty, is to keep it charged, keep it on her person (she has the wristband strap), and how to push the button for help. My nearly 95 year old mother-in-law also has the same device. She is more technologically inclined and, while I set it up for her, she maintains everything herself. This is not an inexpensive solution, but we consider it an investment into our loved ones' well-being and consider it completely worthwhile to feel comfortable that help is the push of a button away when they need it, even when family isn't there. I highly recommend this device and this company.

I emailed the company to cancel my 87 year old mother's subscription. They automatically renewed her policy without permission and charged her credit card almost $600! Then the calling and harassing began. Their customer service is rapacious and overly aggressive, rude and mean. The representative told me she wasn't aware of my email to cancel, and proceeded to talk over me, informing me that my mother owes money. I would NEVER use a company who daily phones and harasses elderly customers.

The response was immediate and calm and helpful. They dispatched the ambulance as soon as I told him what was going on with me. And I felt very safe and very protected

One day, my hip replacement dislocated, and I was unable to move. A neighbor found me, and I told him where to find the Medical Guardian thing and he pushed it and the kindest most capable team came helped me down the stairs on a plank of some kind that they had and took me to the hospital Medical Guardian made it possible for them to get into the house without breaking the door down With Medical Guardian, you can take it into the shower with you and it won’t get harmed in anyway - so Medical Guardian has made a huge difference to my life. I think more than once I think it’s at least twice and I would definitely recommend it. I live alone so I couldn’t just be immobilized and wait for someone to come home and find me And Medical Guardian saved the day.

Medical Guardian is an emergency assistance service. In the year sine I subscribed I have not had an emergency but I did accidentally trigger the "alarm button." Their response was immediate and satisfactory with absolutely no resentment for the "false alarm." A simpler one- sheet guide to the various actions and responses (refrigerator door type), would get them 5 stars.

I've had Medical Guardian since July 2023. I started with the fall alert pendant. They said it couldn't be worn inside my clothes because of the fall alert, sot was always in my way, having to wear it on top of clothes, so I switched to the fall alert wrist device. It works really well and so did the pendant, but both devices CONSTANTLY LIGHT UP ABOUT ONCE A MINUTE, 24/7 in a very invasive way. Medical Guardian says the devices constantly light up to show that the devices are working. I need to wear it 24/7, so I can't put it in a drawer at night and it lights up my dark room every few minutes. When I'm out in public, the device lights up every minute, and people notice it and ask what it's for. These devices are very invasive, lighting up every minute. I didn't know there were other devices that do the same emergency alerts, BUT DO NOT LIGHT UP, so I'm dumping Medical Guardian. I'm so tired of the thing blinking brightly every minute, especially when out in public or trying to sleep or watch TV. It's THE WORST. If you need fall alert, there's many other companies that have devices that don't light up constantly. I'm tired from being woken up all night, and tired of explaining to people what I'm wearing on my wrist.

I was naturally skeptical of believing that the “button” would summon help until I, on two different occasions accidentally actioned it. The first time, I received a phone call inquiring if I needed help. The second time, I was alerted by the fire department at my door responding to the activation. I am confident now that the “button” does what it was designed to do.
