Received the equipment in a timely manner. Setup went as indicated. After a week i started getting a warned alert, I called tech support and they resolved the issue. (My skewup) well satisfied at this point.

Mike was so helpful. He answered all my questions. He was very understanding and patient with me. My mother-in-law is now safe in her home. We have piece of mind now.

I contacted Medical Guardian in the late evening after my mother had a scary fall. The representative was incredibly helpful and I ordered the system the next day. The staff has been wonderful helping us get settled. And my mother (who never wanted to use something like this) is using it with no complaint. We have peace of mind. I highly recommend this product.

I researched several medical alert systems and decided Medical Guardian was the best for me as it provided fall detection and had GPS that would cover me outside of my house. The kit arrived in good time and I charged the unit before I called to activate it. I kept getting the message from the unit that it was unable to connect. The woman I dealt with when I called the number to activate the unit had me do a couple of different things including moving it to a different part of my home that was near a window. Still couldn't connect. So she told me to turn the unit off and leave my house and drive around Baraboo after I turned the unit on again. I went east, south, west and north---still couldn't connect. I drove out to Tower Road near Devil's Lake and proceeded down that road until I saw 5 towers. Still no connection. She then told me the unit must be defective and she would send a new one. The second kit arrive and I charged the new unit on the new charger for a couple of days, then called to activate. Still got the same message---unable to connect. The person that was helping me that time checked with someone else and told me that the unit would only function when I was out and about in Baraboo, not in my home. That defeats the whole purpose for me. If I'm out and about in Baraboo and had an issue or fell someone would see me and call for help. But I live alone and need the coverage in my home and yard. So I returned the second kit using the return label that came in that box and am waiting for Medical Guardian to send me another return label so I can return the first kit. Very frustrating. Now I need to find another company that can provide this service in zip code 53913!

I had first called another provider who advertises frequently with a catchy tag line, but was given conflicting and vague information by several different representatives. I really felt like I was being scammed. I then saw Medical Guardian advertised in the AARP magazine, and called them and talked to a gentleman named Ed. He was extremely helpful and gave me all kinds of good information. He was not pushy at all, just very informative. I went to the Medical Guardian website and it was also full of information, unlike the other provider's site I visited. Very transparent, very clear information. I was actually ordering this service for my mother, and Ed was very patient, even though I called back several times to ask more questions. It was nice I got to talk to the same person each time I called. He even followed up with me along my journey, but not in an intrusive way. I finally got Mom on board, and she's very happy with the service. Everything came as advertised and cost never changes. No extra fees. Bottom line: website is awesome, customer service was excellent. (some advice: don't use the "I've fallen and I can't get up" people - their prices change on every call! One guy even told me he'd give me his special "family discount", which was kind of shady, and no prices were on the site at all, and when I questioned things he got very argumentative) So I would absolutely recommend Medical Guardian.

What seemed to start off with great ease became a confusing, frustrating situation. Inconsistant service due to too many cooks in the kitchen. Because we couldn't speak to the same person twice, we had multiple, repetitive conversations that never resolved the issues. We found that there was NO inhouse communications between departments OR employees. The lack of follow through and urgency was present throughout our multiple calls. I only hope that should an emergency situation arise it is handled appropiately as we have been lead to believe it will. Jim
