I purchased two Steelcase Leap V2 chairs from Madison Seating. The chairs are almost entirely assembled out of the box and come with simple, easy to follow instructions on how to put them together. There were almost 0 signs of prior use, the condition was impeccable. On my second order I needed to contact customer service during the holidays due to some issues but despite the holiday rush, my problems were handled in timely fashion. All-in-all I definitely plan on purchasing from them again. They make gifting high quality chairs affordable!

The prices are reasonable, but pay attention to the fine print. I'm a verified purchaser of a Knoll Chadwick Chair from MadisonSeating and I had a relatively simple issue with my order that was handled in a poor and unprofessional manner. Specifically I don't like the product I purchased, and I want to upgrade from the Knoll Chadwick to the Herman Miller Aeron. I want to return my $300+ chair and purchase a $500+ chair. Their policy is that I have to pay return shipping ($67 but I'm OK with that) and I have to pay an additional $50 restocking fee even though all chairs they sell are "open box & not in original packaging" to start with. They boldly and prominently advertise on their website "MONEY BACK Guarantee" & "100% satisfaction guarantee with our 30-day money back policy" but the fine print is not buyer friendly. It's the overtly prominent "MONEY BACK Guarantee" that I take issue with. As a buyer I have to pay $67 return shipping and a $50 restocking fee on a $300+ chair (so that's $117 I'm out on the transaction). Just don't promote your guarantee so much as that is misleading! Now the bigger issue. I posted a fair and reasonable review on the Madisonseating website and they REFUSED TO POST my review on their site because they only approve positive reviews? (that's a logical conclusion anyway) I believe the reviews on their website lack integrity due to MadisonSeating censorship of reviews on their site. The biggest names in online retailing don't censor reviews and in my opinion that's the right way to do business. Companies should either post the good with the bad or don't post reviews. Posting only positive reviews is possibly deceptive advertising

I ordered two chairs from Madison’s seating. When one of them arrived, it wouldn’t hold the setting. I contacted the company and they immediately sent out a replacement. Will order from them again

Please avoid at all cost. We purchased a chair which had a faulty part. They agreed to send a replacement part. That took 2 months. Once the part arrived it was the wrong part, I sent pics and they "determined" it was the correct part and I guess we were too inept to install it. So they offered to allow us to send the whole chair back at our own expense. I refused and agreed to send back the chair rim (the faulty part) and mesh for them to install and send it back (at our expense). I sent back the broken chair rim and the replacement chair rim along with the original mesh for installation and when I received it back the mesh was not installed in the new chair rim but an old USED part which matched the original rim....SO THEY INFACT DID SEND US THE WRONG REPLACEMENT PART AFTER ALL! So we wasted a ton of money sending back the item and providing a prepaid shipping label for them to return the "repaired" item back to us. Asked to be contacted by a manager and was told NO

My company ordered six refurbished leap chairs. Five chairs arrived in good condition and are very comfortable to use. The sixth chair did not stay assembled. I notified Madison Seating customer support and they have been quick to send us a replacement, at no charge, all the way in the middle of the country. Their customer support is great. They are clear in their communication, willingness and intent to help. No hassle in the replacement process. Madison Seating stands behind their products!

In today's day and age you do not send items to anyone without a return address on your label. You most certainly do not send them a flexible grey envelope that feels as if there are wires attached to a mysterious object. Because when that happens, the BOMB SQUAD shows up. What is this company thinking? How hard is it to put a return label on a heavy duty grey flexible envelope? How much did it cost the Police Department in time, energy and money because some moron couldn't write a name on a package. Customer service said, "We will reevaluate our current protocol?" How about... "WE WILL MAKE SURE THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!" IDIOTS

We purchased many chairs from this company. If you are looking to purchase good quality, very comfortable and great customer service. I highly recommend purchasing from Madison Seating. Thank you for taking great care of us. Barb R

Intentionally misleading. We ordered 35 office chairs only half were delivered. The other half mysteriously vanished. They took the order knowing they could not fulfill it in its entirety and made returning the chairs that were already delivered extremely difficult, and just refunded us for the chairs they did not supply. This meant I needed to find another vender and put me 60 days behind. Customer service would not speak to me on the phone, the chairs we did receive broke frequently, and the experience after the purchase was horrible. If you are looking for a bulk order, avoid this vendor. Easily the worst experience I've had working with an office supply vendor.
