We bought a chair, it took longer than the 10-14 days to receive it. When we got it, it wasn't what we thought it would be. To return, they make you pay a $50 restocking fee and the entire shippping.. They don't even offer you a corporate shipping label (which even if you paid, would be substantially less, and no cost to them.) Apparently once they have your money, they don't care about your experience. Would never use them again.

I bought a chair from Madison Seating about 8 years ago. About a year in I had a small issue with my chair. I contacted Madison and they fixed my chair no questions asked. I'm happy to report that my Herman Miller chair is still going strong. Bought another chair from them last month. Had an issue with the internal mechanism. Contacted customer service, sent a video, and they responded quickly. They are sending me a replacement. As always fast, responsive company.

First of all I thought the website was clean and well organized for my needs. I have a small office and needed to purchase eight chairs. They came after placing my order in an efficient manner and well boxed and well cushioned inside the box. Unfortunately two of my chiairs were broken. Madison seating‘s customer service did a great job in resolving the issue. I will definitely purchase more chairs in the future from this company when needed. And I appreciate their customer service. This place is HORRIBLE! I ordered a new Herman Miller Chair for $690. The chair came used and worn. I requested a refund. They didn't want to accept a refund for the chair and said it was an "open box" sale which is why the price was "only" $690. The website made it look like a BRAND NEW chair. No where on the site did it say "used" "open box" or anything like that. I called BS on the deal and said I was going to leave feedback regarding this purchase. They told me to file a complaint with their lawyer. Finally I got them to accept the return, however it cost me $160 to ship the product back to them and then they charged me for original shipping and a restocking fee. I ended up getting back from them $540. After my shipping charges this entire BS fiasco cost me $310 for NOTHING! BUYER BEWARE!! THESE GUYS SELL CRAP AND TRY TO SLIP IN UNDER THE RADAR!!! DON'T PURCHASE FROM THESE GUYS, THE PRICE IS NOT WORTH IT.

The customer purchased an office chair that clearly indicate the product was OPEN BOX. This brand name chair that was discounted more than 50% off the retail value arrived in perfect condition!. The customer decided the item did not suit his needs and was emailed the return instructions. This is a case of buyers remorse.

We are VERY pleased with Madisonseating! We ordered a chair for a new employee in our university office and unfortunately, it came to us with shipping damages. When we reached out for assistance, the customer service on the phone was excellent (no wait time, polite representative, clear instructions) and Annie responded to our email within one day. We are not expected to provide return shipping or anything! They are sending us a new one for free. It is refreshing to work with a company who values customer satisfaction and convenience over dollar signs. We will definitely consider Madisonseating for future needs. Thanks!

I have a bad back and my therapist recommended ordering a Leap Chair from Madisonseating.com (this was in April). I love it! Super fast and easy service and the chair really helped. Bought another one for work a couple of weeks ago and it came in on Thursday. Put it together on Friday, but the seat wobbled and it shouldn't. I called customer support and was told to email the team a photo of what had happened. On Monday, the whole thing was resolved! Talk about a quick turn-around! They're sending me out a new chair, free of charge. A big thank you to Andrew, Emily, and Annie for your help!

I ordered a Steelcase Leap chair for my home office from Madison Seating at a fraction of the msrp, the same chair I had for years at the office with excellent support and comfortable seating, especially considering my back issues. The chair arrived damaged in transit. Annie from Madison Seating worked with me to find an acceptable resolution to the issue. Madison Seating offered a replacement at no charge. I'm expecting to receive a replacement soon. Great customer service so far!

My experience with this company over my Herman Miller Aeron chair has been extremely disappointing. I have had to ship it to/from them twice, not including the original delivery of the chair. The first time they "fixed it," it came back to me worse than I sent it off to them. It was unusable. I was so upset, I just pushed the chair into a corner in a conference room and let it sit for two years because I have been very sick for past two years and just could not muster energy to send chair back. When I recently got the energy back to send the chair to Madison Seating again, because chair has a 10 year warranty, I had to send them the whole chair so they could look it over. Sending the chair back, due to its weight, cost me $295.00. $295.00 is about 1/3 the value of the chair. I called customer service to see if they would ship it back at their expense because it was not fixed correctly the first time and they flatly and rudely said no. I just sent them my billing info and they will be billing me $75.00 to ship chair back to me. I feel like the chair has become a money pit and that the representatives in their customer service department would be better employed working for an insurance company who only says no. No empathy, no respect, and contempt for customer are my experience with Madison Sating.

This reviewer purchased a chair back in 2013. He broke his chair and asked our company to do the repair service. He is now claiming that the repair was not done to his satisfaction although he failed to notify us of this issue for the past 2 years. This review is an example of how unreasonable this reviewer was despite our best efforts in offering a courtesy repair service.
