They state they provide warranty service but are saying they closed the warranty department due to COVID, From the looks of it they are still selling chairs but delayed due to COVID. I asked for a refund after being told a 2nd time I have to wait month and even then no guarantees. So in my opinion they do not provide warranty service currently and won't until its safe to go back to work.
I would not recommend getting one of their chairs as they are not very good quality, mine broke after 8 months of use and now there is no warranty as stated on the site. You cant say you have a warranty when you close your warranty department.
Good luck shopping here if you choose to do so. They seem to have good prices but... No guarantees. I am regretting that decision now.

I was worried after reading bad reviews.
After reading a ton of reviews... I got nervous about having ordered a Herman Miller Aeron chair from Madison Seating, but the chair arrived, it's wonderful, there's a tiny scuff on the back and for a $700 to $800 savings I am well pleased. It took a little doing to figure out how to operate it. There are videos on YouTube. I already had a really good chair, but this, I am seeing a difference in my posture and in how I feel when I stand up in just a few days. I'm glad I bought it. It did take a month to arrive, but I received an email letting me know it wouldn't ship immediately from New York - Covid 19 - but here I am sitting happily in my new chair. I hope this makes you feel more confident in your decision to order.

18 days later, still no chair.
I ordered a Leap Chair-V2 w/Aluminum by Steelcase on May 12th. The email they sent states that the estimated delivery time is 10-14 days from the order date. I wrote to them on May 22nd asking if there was an update to provide, then they sent me a message saying, "As your email confirmation indicates, we ask that you allow an estimated 14 business days for delivery from the order date. (Business days do not include weekends or legal holidays)." - Why was this not in the original message if you needed to exclude holidays and weekends? As of May 30th, that's 13 days with no tracking number, no shipping information, and no update on availability.
I sent another message on May 30th, which is approximately 18 days total days from my order date. I have received a message that says, "Our office will be closed Friday, May 29th in observance of the Shavuot holiday. We will respond to your email when we reopen on Monday, June 1st." - I am very understanding that observations of holidays are important, but I am curious where the communication to your customers is if you're going to be closing during these business days? I'm pretty sure that Shavuot is not a legal holiday so I didn't think to count it. Also, if my chair is not in stock, at least let me know. I see the chair is still for sale on their website.
This is my first experience with Madison Seating, and I'm afraid I don't feel confident that they are able to fulfill orders effectively. I gave them two-stars for responding to my messages. I am disappointed that they are excessively delayed, provide zero updates (they could've just posted it on their website instead of emailing/messaging users directly), give no clear product availability indication that I could figure out for myself.
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who's gotten this treatment, as I dislike leaving reviews for any business without giving them a chance. I am going to allow until June 2nd for a reasonable update from Madison Seating, and if they do not provide me with an update, I will cancel my order. I do hope that they are able to conduct better business practices in the future.

Great Customer Service
Great Customer Service. I ordered two chairs from Madison but one arrived broken. I contacted customer service regarding my issues with the broken chair and they had me provide them with photos and a description of the issues. Within a few days after their team reviewed the photos and my complaint, I was told that they would send a replacement. I am happy that the customer service agent, Annie, was so responsive and resolved the issue. I am now waiting for the replacement and will update once it arrives (hopefully in working order).

Dude, where's my chair?
I ordered an in stock, Steelcase Leap V2 chair from Madison seating on April 17th. I needed a better office chair to support my back while I work from home until this viral mess is over, and I understood that there would be a delay because of Covid19. Receiving confirmation of my order I saw that it would take 10-14 business days for delivery, and I hoped that included any expected delay due to Covid19.
On May 1st I reached out to inquire about my order's status and I was told "This order is scheduled to be shipped out by early May. Tracking will be emailed once released." I thought okay it'll probably ship soon.
Having received no tracking information, I reached out again on May 8th for an update and I was told "Madisonseating has just become fully operational again. This order is scheduled to be shipped out next week. Tracking will be emailed once released.".
So it should've shipped the week starting May 11th. I patiently waited while that week passed and was quite frustrated that not only had early May passed, but so had the week of the 11th. The week ended in hope though as I noticed my card was charged for the chair on Friday the 15th.
When I did not have the tracking info by Tuesday, May 19th, in frustration I reached out yet again and I was told "Your order has just been processed. You should be receiving the tracking information this week."
Here I sit on Friday the 22nd, an entire week since my card was charged, 25 business days since I initially placed the order, and I reached out yet again to ask about my order and received the following response:
"We are working with limited staff right now causing shipping to be slow. As we are currently closed for the Memorial weekend please reach out next Tuesday to get the tracking information if not issued to you by then."
Now I understand that Covid19 is making a mess of things, I get that, and I feel that I have been very patient. How can you say you are "fully operational" on the 8th of May and then on May 22nd blame it not shipping yet on working with "limited staff"? Are you fully operational as you claim or are you working with limited staff? Which is it?
To date, this has been a terrible experience, and this chair better be the one I ordered and it better arrive in pristine condition after waiting this long. If it does, I may adjust the rating of my experience.

I ordered a Herman Miller chair from…
I ordered a Herman Miller chair from Madison Seating. They claimed to have it in stock and ready to ship. They also claimed they would have the chair to me within 14 days. 5 weeks later I received the chair. The chair was damaged during shipping. The shipping box had multiple holes and dents because the chair was not properly packaged. Legs and armrests were sticking out of the box and were damaged. I wrote to Madison Seating, sent them pictures and a description of the damages. They are refusing to refund me because they claim it was an open box sale. I did not expect the chair to come with the manufacturers box but surely they could have packed it decently for shipping since that is their business selling and shipping chairs. I'll be pursuing further action.

5-star service for 5-star chairs
The customer service at Madison is phenomenal, they always respond in a timely manner and help me with any problems I had. I've purchased chairs from them in the past but on the recent order there was a minute problem that anybody wouldn't have picked up and they sent me a replacement chair right away!
The Aeron is the greatest sitting implement ever made
