My husband and I are absolutely blown away. Our dog was recently diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. We ordered his meds from Chewy because they have the best prices. Buck passed away a couple weeks ago and I called to cancel his auto-fill. I spoke with Amy and she was genuinely very sad to hear this news. On Thursday we received a very nice sympathy card along with a rock that has Buck's name painted on it. Of course my husband and I immediately burst into tears. We had Buck for 14 years and his passing has been devastating. Thank you, Chewy, for making a very difficult time just a little easier. Amy is a stellar employee and I hope this glowing review reaches her. This kind of heartfelt gesture gives me faith in mankind. We placed the rock on his grave, where all can see.

Ordered (3) 32oz bottles of Wipe Out I cleaner and a reptile light bulb from Chewy.com. Package arrived utterly destroyed. No packaging materials used. Just the bulb and three bottles tossed in a box. Nothing survived. We refused the package. Chewy sent an apology stating that it was "not the Chewy norm" and that they would reship. To their credit, they did reship. Bulb came separately this time in better packaging. The three bottles of disinfectant were destroyed in transit again and automatically turned around by the carrier. Chewy again reshipped. Same thing. After the third failed attempt, they said they were out of stock of the item and credited my card. Each of the three time I received an email stating it was not the Chewy norm. Obviously, it IS their norm. I have purchased other things from them in the past and have not had a problem. This experience has been crazy. I will not order anything liquid or fragile (bulbs, etc.) from them again. They do not know how to package products for shipment.

Went to place an order well over what the promo code requested, and promotion was not honored. Called customer service and received a long explanation that all items are not included in the promo. Very deceptive on the part of Chewy. They lost a long time customer.

Misleading promos often. Even their page will display a different amount before you checkout. Then the price changes. Whoever said they have good customer service is wrong. They are nice but don’t do anything do actually resolve anything.

Products are good, but website is slow. They advertise $30 off of $100 order but then don’t honor it. When you question it they give you a 28 point tutorial on why they don’t have to honor it. Crappy ass company.

Chewy has awesome customer service, accurate descriptions, fair prices and fast shipping. I bought the wrong size of an item, and they are sending me the correct size. Free shipping even. I've used Chewy for years and they've always done right by me. They are a large company, but they really care about pets.

I don't usually find myself driven to write a review due to a company's thoughtfulness, but I had to do it for Chewy. I went on their site to remove my pet's profile because we had to say good bye to her last week. Shortly after doing this, I received flowers with a lovely note of condolences from Chewy. Wow... so lovely to have a big company do this.
