Chewy sent me a scheduled autoship and charged me the full regular one-time purchase price. After hanging on the phone a while, they did reverse the excess charges "this one time", but warned me that autoship prices may vary. Not acceptable. If I agree on a price, I don't want it to vary without any notice at all. I'll just buy in the store from now on so I can see the price I'm being charged and not have to stay on the phone asking Chewy to deal with this next time.

Pricing is reasonable, but not significantly better than retail. The kitty litter is questionable, it's packaged in individual unlabeled bags and simply is not effective and does not compare to products purchased in major retail stores. Zero odor prevention. I will not continue buying their litter.

I used to love Chewy. There eas always someone to talk to. It was easy now it's all AI and it's hard to find things you want to do and I am thinking about not using them anymore.

The good and the bad ... First, I will say that I have been using Chewy for several years for dog medication. It's on autoship, and works great. I can adjust the autoship time as needed. One downside with the medication: they upped the price by about $10 without notifying me. I let it go, because my dog needs the meds, but I would have appreciated a notice. I would leave it at that, but now... Today I tried to create an autoship order for dog food. I was wanting to try a new food, and there was an offer on the website for 25% off new autoship orders. Note - it said $25 off per order, not per item. I chose 3 cases (3 different flavors to try) and the cart only took the discount off for one case. I called customer support, and was told the offer is per item, not per order. I pointed out that the website says PER ORDER. The gal was very apologetic, and agreed that it is "misleading" but could do nothing about it. Sigh. It's not even about the price. I just do not like being lied to straight up like that. I like Chewy's overall (you do get a real person when you call, which is amazing!) but this is enough to make me consider looking elsewhere.

I placed a order with chewy August the 30th and my order was supposed to be delivered today between 9:00 and 1:00 and the fedex driver still hasn't showed up to my house and chewy purposely delayed my order yesterday and they have cut off there online chatting on purpose so, my advice to you is don't put up with chewy false emails and there lieing to you about when your order is supposed to arrive.

I’m giving Chewy 3 out of 5 stars because while the overall service is decent, their promotional offers are slightly confusing and frustrating. They strongly push you to sign up for Autoship by promising a 35% discount on your first order. However, what they don't make clear upfront is that they cap this initial discount at a maximum of $20. The aggressive marketing for Autoship combined with these hidden limits feels a bit misleading when you are expecting a true 35% savings on a larger order. The platform works fine for basic pet supplies, but @Chewy needs to make the fine print on their deals much clearer.

My dog is allergic to beef and chicken,when I filter for non chicken or beef I always get stuff with chicken in it,so why even have filters,very disappointed

I think I'm done with Chewy. I like how fast they are, but the shipping and packaging is terrible. They just randomly throw things in box with no concern for weight or protection. I have had fly spray leak onto my dog food and other damaged items in past orders. I tried to circumvent problems by ordering dog food and other items separately on my last order, but they just combined the orders and then added a box of cat litter I didn't even order for good measure. So in one box they put- 24 lbs of dog food, 10 lbs of horse treats, a gallon of fly spray which weighs about 7 lbs, and then a 10 lb box of cat litter I didn't order. The box didn't make it intact, and the cat litter box which was heavily scented exploded all over everything. What a smelly mess.
