When my puppy passed in Sept 24 they were the ;kindest most loving people to deal with. They even took me off their solicitation list and sent me condolences, Now that I have a new puppy they were so helpful in suggesting things I needed. I will never go to anyone else.. Chewy and I are "hooked" for Life!!!

I have done business with Chewy for years. That is, until I ordered a bag of cat food while on vacation. That flagged me as a fraud risk, and they never sent it. They didn't bother to tell me, they just sent me a card in the mail good for 30% off my next order. When I tried to use it, it didn't work so I called them. Turns out the whole thing was a trick to get me to verify my account. Which I didn't find out until after I had verified my name, address, CC#, and vacation address several times. After we got through all that - which took awhile as I couldn't remember the EXACT address of where we were staying - I was informed that they were not going to give me a coupon code because I was still considered a fraud risk. I asked them to take me off their mailing list. Let's see if they do.

Chewy understands the importance of customer service. When you call, a live person picks up the phone within a few rings. My dog passed recently. Chewy sent me flowers. (When I cancelled my Autoship, I listed the reason as my dog's passing. Someone saw that, and today, flowers arrived.) I am blown away.

I am absolutely in awe of this company. I had to say goodbye to my cat Yoda & this company credited my account for food I hadn’t opened - told me to donate in memory of my girl it then sent a beautiful email & last but not least sent my flowers. Please use this company! I am so impressed also their prices are the best. Thank you Chewy from the bottom of my heart.

I have been a long-term customer and advocate for Chewy, but my most recent encounter left me blown away with their compassion and business model. We lost our beloved dog due to Degenerative Myopathy and we left town immediately after her passing and I wasn't prepared to deal with her items until about 30 days later. I called Chewy to see if her unopened food, probiotic, and lift harness could be returned since they were unopened. The customer service representative first expressed her heartfelt sympathy for our loss and let me know that the order placed just before her passing would be fully refundable. I did not expect that level of service, and I wanted to shout out to Chewy that I am totally impressed with the way they conduct their business. I contacted my veterinarian office to see if I could donate the unused items for another family / pet in need so I could pay it forward with the generosity that Chewy has shown to our family.

Placed an order with discount being automatically applied. Received a message asking me to call them to verify something. Called just to hear that they can not give me that discount that they have just given me (without me asking for one) and the order will be cancelled. This is the great customer service they say they have? Why did they need me to call them at all???
