yes it's true. Chewy was bought out by PetSmart, not of the greatest reviews itself for the last several months or couple of years, Yet the magic is Chewy has remained and feels like an independent company... A family business.... They absolutely deliver... Customer, product and singular attention to one's beloved animal. Nuff said

So I rarely take the time to write reviews, but felt this was worth my time. My niece got a new puppy a few weeks ago, and I sent her a care package filled with a variety of puppy things. As everyone knows puppies don't always know what they like, so there were a number of items she never opened. I called Chewy to issue a return, and to my surprise they issued me a full refund for the items we did not use and asked that we donate to a local shelter. I was so impressed and more than happy to....so refreshing that a company does good today. You usually get such a tough time to return anything. So 5 stars Chewy and I will certainly order from them again !!!!!

So far I have used them twice and have had a great experience both times. I received my packages on the 3rd day after order placed. My kitten absolutely loves the toys and tree house we bought. My recent order had an issue with litter bag being riped upon receipt, I called and the customer service rep was very pleasant and professional and put in a replacement, was the easiest call ever made. Will definitely continue to use them.

Fantastic customer service!! Item purchased did not fit when it arrived. It was too tight, even though we measured and followed fitting guidelines. They immediately credited it, ordered the larger size and waived the shipping! Then they told me to donate the one tht didn't fit to a shelter, rather than send back! I was blown away! Keep up the excellent service. Will definitely purchase from them again and recommend to others!

Chewy has gone above and beyond! Once, apparently the courier damaged the box to the extent that the contents were damaged, and before it got to us, they already had a replacement order processed to be delivered within two days. Most recently, I opened one of the boxes from a delivery to find that the wet food cans had busted and that the litter container had split open, which I assume is more the USPS's fault than Chewy's. I had taken pictures to send them in case, and they didn't need to see them and without any additional questions processed a replacement with an extra free case of food and it was delivered within two days. Seriously, this company is fantastic and I recommend it to ALL pet owners. (They also usually have the best prices!)

I have been using Chewy.com for about 4 months. Prior to this I was a dedicated customer of Centinela Feed in Pasadena. One day I just felt the cashier/assistant manager was condescending in the mannner he spoke, so I decided to try Chewy. Last month I ordered diapers for my elderly dog, unfortunately my dog passed away and I called to cancel the order. I spoke with Amber who inquired on my cancellation and I explained the situation. She was very kind and concerned and asked about my pets and how we were doing. She explained how all employees are pet lovers and many have pets. I immediately asked to speak with her supervisor and gave her an excellent review. On Saturday I received a condolence card. That was truly unexpected. It was personalized with each of my pets names. I am amazing that they document our pets names on their database. In addition to the card a flower arrangement arrived yesterday. I will always be grateful for the kindness and sincerity from Chewy.com and their amazing team. I am and will continue as a loyal customer. I can't thank them enough!

Customer service is extremely rude! I wasn't pleased with how they handled a small issue. I had a different address for shipping and billing so they notified me to call customer service to make sure of this, which I did. I personally am not a huge fan of giving information over the phone so I was basically laughed at for my question of concern for them to verify something further to make me feel more comfortable about the situation. I also heard someone else ask a question as in do I think this is a scam and he laughed and answered yes to the guy while I'm on the phone still. Bummer cause I like the deals but we shall see how fast my order arrives before I use them again.

We've been using Chewy.com for approximately 6 months now and I can't say enough how happy we are with not only the ease of using their website and prices, but also with their customer service!
