Customer service at its best. When they took over another company I used for dog food, I called to set up autoship and the rep fedEx a 100 lb bag of food overnight as a courtesy because he heard that I was stressed that I would not have enough and it was a prescription food. Months later my pet passed away and I called to return the latest item on autoship. They refunded me the money and told me to donate the bag of food to a local shelter. Their customer service is top notch; you can speak to someone 24/7 and needless to say their values are in the right place.

The best place to shop, and I’m not just saying this. I’m not affiliated or being sponsored. The customer service is amazing. Such a wide variety of products. When you call customer service there is barely any wait time, and you will be connected to someone really friendly. I was so surprised. I set up auto ship for my basic pet needs, and I’ll be using them for now on.

I'm about to share my story with you. It is a bittersweet one. I was fortunate enough to have my girl, Harley, an English Springer Spaniel, in my life for 14+ years. She recently died of liver cancer. I had ordered some medication from Chewy.com before knowing that she was terminally ill. The order was not inexpensive. I contacted Chewy and told them that my dog had recently died and that the package had never been opened. They voluntarily offered to issue me a full credit, and suggested I not bother to return the order, but donate it to either a shelter or a local vet. Less than a week later, I received a lovely floral delivery along with a poignant card. It was from Chewy.com expressing their condolences and mentioning my dog's name in the message. I can not adequately express to anyone what that gesture meant to me. What business does this in the 21st century? I confess to getting teary eyed just writing this. To the family at Chewy.com, I shall never, ever forget your thoughtfulness. I will be getting another English Spring Spaniel puppy in about 2 months. You have my business for life!

I had an issue with a Fed Ex delivery of my autoship order and I called chewy customer service. A real live person picked up the phone after two rings and in less than 60 seconds there was a second order being shipped out to me no questions asked. Amazing!!! I was blown away by their customer service. Its sad that I expected a harder time with an issue that was not my fault and not chewy's fault either but they made it right. I will be a forever customer.

I've been using Chewy for a year or more for purchasing dog and cat food, treats, cat little box, pet heartworm RX, etc. and Chewy is WONDERFUL. Staff is so personable and caring. They call my vet for scripts and let me know if any issues. Shipping is FAST! I had some treats come smashed with dog food once and they immediately replaced them without returning to "prove". They've sent handwritten Christmas and thank you cards--UNBELIEVEABLE attention to detail. You bet I'm a loyal customer!

I ordered a size 5xl Adidog suit for my dog after measuring him. It turned out the item was too small. This was right after Christmas when I have to handle a number of returns. I initiated a chat late at night with Chewy. I got a v quick response. Rather than have me return the item, they refunded me the purchase with the shipping included! AND they said to donate the item to a human society - WOW. I was not expecting any of that. I had just spent 20 minutes with another online retailer and was frustrated. I will be doing my future purchasing for my new dog from Chewy. Side note, the Adidog suit is easy to put on & really well made. We have been getting below 0 temps and I was concerned that he didn't want to walk.

We have bought cat food on chewy.com for over a year, particularly for an elderly kitty. The service was always excellent - friendly staff and super fast delivery. We sadly lost our kitty in December. I recently contacted chewy.com to cancel the auto-ship order. I also inquired about returning the latest shipment, which hadn't been opened yet. Not only did they reimburse me, but they asked me NOT to send the items back, but to donate them to the local animal shelter in her (Sara's) honor. As if this wasn't enough to blow me away, a few days later chewy.com had flowers delivered, expressing their condolence. I was speechless... I have never experienced this level of customer service with any product.

I have been a Chewy customer for a little over a year now and I can not say enough amazing things about it. Today however they really impressed me!!!!! I ordered 2 portable pet beds but once I got them I realized my dogs would not fit on them. I ordered 2 different ones via chewy site and then asked the help chat how I could return them. The agent advised me that he would be refunding me the about of the 2 beds to my card and that I could donate the beds to my local shelter or dog rescue in my furrbabies name! How awesome is that! They not only have saved me a ton of money, always had the best customer service, delivered all my products on time and saved me a ton of time but they really care about animals. I have recommended Chewy to my many friends and family and I will continue to do so as well as continuing to use them for a long time to come.
