We recently lost 2 furbabies. Chewy not only sent us a beautiful bereavement email but I just received a beautiful huge bouquet of Daisies to console us. Our experience with them has been outstanding. Deliveries always prompt and any questions we had were handled very professional. If and when we add a furbaby to our family again, we will definitely be going back to Chewy. Thank you Chewy for your kind and thoughtful expression. The Melyan family

August 24: Ordered critical meds for my pets August 29: Still have not received anything. Called. Chewy rep says "Meds are shipped today" Sept 2: Still nothing. Called. Chewy rep says "Meds not shipped; Still waiting for approval from your vet" It's Labor Day weekend so that will not happen until Sept.4 Sept 4: Checked with vet and here is the real history: --------------------------------- Aug. 24: Chewy received meds order over the weekend Aug. 26: Chewy called in the meds over the phone Vet was clear they do not do VERBAL prescriptions [that should have been obvious!] Aug. 27 AM: Chewy sent a faxed request for prescriptions; Vet approved and faxed back Aug. 27 PM: Chewy said they did not receive fax; Vet faxed again prescription a 2nd time [Saw proof of fax so Chewy did get the faxed prescription 2x on Aug.27] >> but nothing happened. Chewy does not ship. So: Aug. 29, when I called: I'm told "meds are shipped" but they are not! Sept 2:, when I called: "No, meds are not shipped; waiting for approved prescription from Vet" That's when I cancelled my order with Chewy.com and ordered at VetRxDirect which process my pets meds orders in less than 1 day. In the mean time I scramble to bring cat to Emergency Vet to get emergency meds to tie me over during Labor Day weekend before receiving shipment from VetRxDirect. I blame Chewy and consider they should reimburse urgent pet care I had to pay because of their incompetence DON'T BUY MEDS AT CHEWY.COM THEY WILL LET YOU PETS DIE BEFORE SHIPPING THE ORDERED MEDS. Buy instead at VetRxDirect which are more efficient and care about ensuring critical meds get to your pets fast.

Thank you Chewy.com. Late last week I received to shipments for medicine and special food for my ill dog. She passed away on Saturday. I contacted Chewy to request a refund for the medicine I received Saturday. Jonathan refunded that order and instructed me I could donate the medication in my area and not have to mail it back to Chewy. I also asked about a refund for the special food I received Friday and had used one can, this had already been donate to my vet clinic for a rescue in the area. Jonathan also refund the amount of the unused cans of food. Thank you so much for your kindness in the difficult time. Chewy.com is awesome!

absolutely love their prices and selection, but it ends there. Once you hit "place order" the excitement of saving money is over. It will never be delivered to your door, even if that's the most convenient place, it still won't make it there. I have a driveway and sidewalk that leads straight to my front door, nope instead I find my boxes somewhere in the driveway and they are ALWAYS smashed. They will not package your order in a way that makes sense. Big items smash everything else. I had cat vitamins that were literally powder from being smashed so much. Chewy will replace the items, but it's every single time! Petco delivers to my door and nothing is ever destroyed! Chewy acts like this is no big deal. Flea preventive came flat as a pancake! My boxes are never even taped closed because they're so destroyed upon delivery. Needless to say I had to switch to petco.

I had the best customer service from Jorge M. at chewy.com. He not only promptly answered me but went above and beyond to show me that my business mattered to this company. I would highly recommend chewy.com any day. Keep up the great work!

A Very Humane Company! My cat Larry recently passed away, from complications from IBS. He and his brother had been eating a prescription diet from Royal Canin. Unfortunately a large surplus of food had built up (they didn't love it) and when Larry died, I called Chewy to ask if I could return the unopened food. 2 cases of wet and 3 bags of dry. The customer support representative could not have more pleasant, efficient - and above all, caring and remorseful! He offered his condolences and best wishes and made me feel very supported. After he had refunded me my last two orders to the tune of approximately $250 - and I asked him if I needed a RMA to return the unopened food, he told me that I should donate the food to a local shelter or pet store. I mean, c'mon, how often does this kind of generosity and charity happen at a corporate level?!! I MOST HIGHLY recommend Chewy to anyone ordering online. They most certainly will have my business as long as Curly is alive and I have pets. Jesse H.

Just received a hamster wheel in the mail with a big crack in the back of it, called them, and they are sending a completely new one to me for no charge. Chewy is amazing!
