We have never dealt with a better company in our life's and we are in our late 60's and early 70's. Two and 1/2 weeks ago we had to put our beloved 12 year old dog down. It was very unexpected and my husband and I were both heart broken. We had just the week before stocked up on Sadies canned and dry food and hip and joint cookies for her. Cost well over $100. Obviously not a clue she was very sick. After putting her down I called Chewy.com about returning food. I was sobbing and had a very compassionate gentleman on the other end. He told me that all the money we had just spent would be credited to our card and to please donate the food to dog shelter. A week later I came home and on our counter was a gorgeous arrangement of roses and other flowers in a pretty vase. They were sent by the Chewy Company. I broke down again but he flowers and sweet card surely helped. We no longer have our sweet puppy, (I always called her puppy, even though she was 12). Since this is our third dog in 37 years that we lost, I don't think I can go thru another one. However, I will continue to praise and recommend Chewy as long as people will listen. The return policy and customer service on Chewy is AMAZING! I bought a harness for my puppy that ended up being too small, so I ordered another brand harness in another size. I called customer service to receive instructions on how to return the smaller size, and will be receiving a FULL refund. All they asked of me was to DONATE the smaller sized harness to a local animal shelter. This company is nothing but class and totally cares for your pets. My customer service rep did not rush me off the phone at all, instead asked me questions about my dogs out of pure interest. I can't express how wonderful this company is! I purchase everything off Chewy and that will never change!

didn't receive an order that stated it was delivered. Talked to a representative for five minutes and my order was replaced and on its way. Highly recommend.

I've never called a major company before and gotten a real person to pick up on the first ring! Amazing! I needed to return a product and it took me less than 2 minutes for them to pull up my order, refund me, ask me if they could help me with anything else, and end the call. I'm so impressed I even bothered to write a good review, how often does that happen?! Also I should add that I've been using their automated shipments for about a year, and I've only had good experiences with every shipment. It saves me money (about 10 cents/can of cat food and a $1-2/bag of dry food, compared to my local store), time, and even though the cat litter price is about the same as the store it saves me from lugging 40lbs of cat litter from my car to my apartment.

Literally the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. I bought a big bag of cat food and never got a chance to open it before my cat passed away. I asked Chewy how I could return it and before I knew it they refunded my money and told me to keep the food and donate it. It was so kind of them and really made everything so much smoother for me after my cats passing.

I started just ordering treats from chewy because they were half the price of PetCo. We ordered them 3 or 4 times a year in bulk. But then my daughter brought home guinea pigs and we started ordering bedding and hay. Then PetCo was very rude one day and I decided not to shop there anymore. There customer service is excellent and prices competitive. We aleays order enough for free shipping. It comes quickly and our order is always correct.

I'm a real customer of Chewy.com I thought it was great that I could get my dog's food shipped to me and get a discount for participating in an autoship program. The problem is that more than 80% of my shipments have dented cans. While Customer Service reps are a joy to communicate with [as all customers know], this issue has not been resolved for over a year. They keep asking about the outer packaging. No, the product is damaged before it is shrink-wrapped and put into an outer box. The last 4 chat representatives have said they would "reach out" to shipping, then it was shipping/manufacturing. No results. Except two shipments ago when I got all dent-free cans! An anomaly!! One last try...I will call them.
