We recently purchased special cat food for our sick cat. Unfortunately, he passed away before we even opened the box of food. I was impressed last week when Michael at customer service refunded our money and told me to donate the food to a shelter, which I did. Then today, we got a delivery from FTD of a dozen red roses and a vase with a symphony card form Michael and Chewy. I’m still in awe. That was the most thoughtful thing they could have done! Thanks Michael and Chewy.com!!

Chewy has always been available for all my pets needs. They have gone above and beyond to keep my pets satisfied. Thankyou chewy for being you.

I know everyone has different experiences but I just called Chewy to return $20 worth of stuff and they asked me if I could donate them, i.e. they're still gonna refund me $20 but I can give the items to shelters, etc. I know $20 is not a lot, but I mean... HOW AWESOME IS THAT? I literally googled "how to review Chewy" just to write this review. P/s: I've bought so many stuff from Chewy and they've all been great so far. These items I want to return because they don't fit my cat. Not that there's anything wrong with it.

I am not disagreeing with the other reviewers here as chewy does have great customer service however why are we reviewing customer service? Customer service obviously fixes order issues which believe me happens pretty much every time. In my last three orders alone I've had broken bags of cat food, busted open boxes of cat litter, a cat scratcher that arrived without the scratcher pad, phoned customer service and they sent a replacement - again missing the scratching pad. On my latest order the scratcher was missing completely! Customer service are polite and helpful at fixing things, but this is a warehouse based service which they have no control over. I hate giving bad reviews and don't take this as a deterrent, they have great prices and a large selection, though consider amazon price matches their pet food and provides free shipping at half the price of chewy's. Target stores are now matching the price of their cat litter.

I cannot say enough good things about this company! They offer competitive prices on everything you could possibly need for your pet.....food, bedding, toys, wellness products, etc. Whatever you need for your pet, they carry. Shipping is extraordinarily fast & free for orders over $49 and you get a discount for signing your for monthly shipments. But most of all, you will never find a company with better customer service.....this is not an exaggeration at all, hands down the best! Helpful, friendly, courteous, and most of all, invested in your satisfaction with any & all products your purchase from them. They set the gold standard for customer service!

Personally, I have for the past ten years consistently used Amazon as the company that sets the standard for customer service. I now know that honor now belongs to Chewy.com. December 22 my wife and I placed our Coton de Tulear, Cozy to rest. He was sixteen years old. It was very peaceful, and he had the opportunity of being in my wife’s arms in his home. His transition was provided by Lap of Love and Dr Tiffany. I had three weeks previously placed a large order for him. I called Chewy.com and informed customer service that he no longer needed the items. The representative knew immediately what I meant. She said I would receive a complete refund and made a point of saying not to ship anything back. The Humane Society of Greater Miami North welcomed everything. Two weeks later I received a vase of flowers with a very personal condolences card. In all my years I have never had a company go more out of their way and making such a horrible time less stressful. Someday we will get another dog and I can guarantee you that I will purchase everything and anything from Chewy.com

Accidentally ordered a size Large in something for my dog when I meant to order a size 3XL. Literally 5 minuets after I made the mistake it was all fixed and ready to be sent out correctly. Chewy.com has the best customer service and they answered within two rings. Not to mention it is 11:30 at night!

I was getting my prescription dog food for my 13 year old long haired German Shepherd, Rocky for his arthritis. The morning of the day we had to say Good-bye to Rocky I received an email that my order was ready to ship. I emailed them back and let them know what was happening and asked them to cancel the order -- which they did. A few days later a beautiful bouquet of flowers was delivered to me! The card read: "With Deepest Sympathy on the loss of your little one. We'll always be there through the sad times and to remember the good memories of your fur baby left on your heart. Love, Elizabeth and the Chewy Family." Chewy is reaching new levels of customer service! The flowers meant a lot to me in my grieving. Thank you Chewy!
