I’ve used Chewy.com for a couple of years, been pleased with their prices and selections, and been amazed with their friendly, efficient and personal service. Most of the complaints I’ve heard have been about affiliated shipping problems rather than Chewy’s products or service. Recently, I went through a tragedy with my young dog and was amazed at the kindness and generosity I experienced from their service representitive concerning the return of a large order I could no longer use. I won’t go into details, but suffice to say that they will always have my loyalty because of their compassionate policies and personal caring. I hope this is the beginning of a new kind of big business in our world where heartfelt responsibility replaces cold-hearted greed. Chewy.com really impressed me!

I ordered dog chews along with a bag of dog food. When they arrived, the chews were underneath the bag of dog food and were smashed into little pieces. It is too bad because the dogs love them. It is a pain that every time I feed them to my dogs, I have to try to piece together little bits that I think might be the size of a whole one. I'd recommend Chewy for the big bags of dog food, but not for things that might get crushed. Funny thing, when I tried to post this review on the Chewy.com site, it would not let me post it. I tried to post it several times and even attempted on different browsers. Do they not allow negative posts?

Great prices on most items. Excellent customer service and the deliveries are fast. Also a wide range of products in all categories. I highly recommend Chewy to everyone with pets.

The best company for pets and people. Great service! My delivery was delayed because of wintery weather conditions, so they reordered and did not charge me! Where else will you find this kind of service and attitude? Nowhere. I will also by medicine from their web site from now on. Excellent company!

I have been a long time customer of Chewy. I have never had an issue that their customer service department didn't handle appropriately. I have read some reviews that have been very negative about the company and I strongly disagree. Chewy goes over and beyond to show how they care for their customers. I came home one day and had a package from Chewy and I thought I didn't order anything, and when I opened the package there was a sweet surprise with a wonderful card. The surprise was a painting of my fur baby and it was beautiful and made me cry. Chewy cares about their customers and I wouldn't shop anywhere else for my fur babies. THANK YOU CHEWY AND YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE.

I have two cats and they use prescription food for kidney disease. I am always impressed by how quickly I get the delivery. However, prices are steadily increasing. I do understand that is as a result of economics, however I placed my order yesterday, and today my credit card was charged about 7 dollars more than the price on my invoice yesterday. In addition, they sent me a 15 dollar off coupon, but said my order didn't qualify. The only restriction was that I had to have a prescription order, which I do. I sent them an email, and got no response. I feel like my loyalty as a customer is actually costing me more than the savings originally promised when I signed up.

I’m joining the ranks of unhappy long time repeat customers in saying how bad Chewy has become. I have been a consistent repeat customer with 3-dogs and a cat. It seems that after you’ve been with Chewy for awhile they start using the worst shipping around (OnTrac). I was send a FedEx nbr but then the link was cancelled. I was told by Adrianna Chewy gave my package to Fedex who gave it to OnTrac. When the package was late I called back and got Adrianna again who now said Chewy gave it directly to OnTrac (yeah the OnTrac who never answers the phone and is unreliable—so much so Amazon won’t use them to my house). Then she said Chewy didn’t use FedEx because fedex had weather delays— there are NO WEATHER DELAYS BETWEEN GOODYEAR AZ and SAHUARITA AZ. when I said I would take my orders to PetSmart age was all Ok— which made me google IF YOU DIDNT KNOW PETSMART OWNS CHEWY!! There’s a reason the customer care is gone!!

I've been a customer of Chewy.com for 2 years. The service was wonderful for the first year. More recently though the shipments have arrived with damaged contents. The items- litter, cases of canned food, dry food- are tossed into a box with no filler and the litter bag isn't wrapped. I've now had 3 shipments with torn litter bags and messes from the litter dribbling out of the box. The litter is thrown on top of the cans and rips. I've also had the bags of dry food smashed from the cases of wet food. And I've had the cans smashed and leaking. Is some of this due to FedEx? Maybe. But when the litter bag isn't wrapped (I've seen other companies do this to prevent ripping) and there isn't any filler so the items roll around I have to mostly fault the Chewy shippers. Every time I have a damaged shipment, Chewy customer service promises that the next shipment will be packaged appropriately. Not so. I'd love to stick with Chewy as I know they are aware of their shipper problems and (maybe) trying to rectify the problems but there are other pet supply delivery companies.
