Once PetSmart acquired Chewy.com, things slowly have gone downhill. Won't they learn? There was a reason Chewy was a hot commodity: it's excellent service and prices. Mind you, they are still making some effort, but now my last few orders have been coming late, even though they tout the promise of free 1-2 day shipping. Now they are using OnTrac to deliver and my last shipment magically arrived at night, a day after it was marked as delivered. Then with the following order, I'm missing another package 2 days after it was said to have been delivered to my door by OnTrac. I've had a faithful, regular autoship with them every 2 weeks for several years, but I'm going to have to look elsewhere now.

Chewy.com is THE BEST online retailer that I have ever had the pleasure of shopping with. If all online retailers held to Chewy.com's level of customer care, fairness and dependability this would be a better world to live in.

Recently, we purchased a six month supply of medications for our beloved Golden Retriever. Before the packages were even opened, our family was decimated to learn that our dog suddenly was dying of cancer. We decided to put her down as the disease had spread throughout her body. When we called Chewy to see if the products could be sent back for a credit, they told ua to destroy the products and the credit would be seen in our account within a few days. But, that's not the best part! Within the week, a beautiful bouquet of flowers arrived at our house with a lovely note expressing sympathy for our loss. When the time comes when we have another pet, Chewy is the only company we will be using for all of our pet needs, and we will be telling all our friends and family about this great company.

They have the most excellent customer service. I've been using them for several years. They were recommended by a coworker who also had an amazing above and beyond customer service experience with them. I was having problems finding my food on Amazon and the prices were so erratic. Chewy has cost less for high end cat food and delivery has always been 1 to 2 days. Awhile back because of the wildfires an order was late. They reimbursed me enough money to buy food to get us by until the order came. They were so nice and caring. A couple weeks ago my order seemed hung up in FedEx so I emailed them. I did not ask and was not complaining, I just wanted them to nudge fedex. They refunded me $30 and shipped the order again at no cost to me. I got both shipments within the week. I added my mom to my account as we were having problems finding her cat's food also. She's thrilled. It costs less and is so dependable. The autoships are amazing. You are not locked in, they are easy to add, remove, cancel, change the date. If you have any questions, their customer service is more than willing to step in and fix it how you need it. I love Chewy and highly recommend.

We just ordered from Chewy.com for the first time. All of our products arrived VERY quickly and were of great quality. I needed to return some items that we ended up not using (bandages, anti-lick spray, cone of shame). When I called Chewy to return our unused items, I was told there would be a full refund and to donate the items not used to an animal shelter/vet of our choice! Chewy, you are AMAZING!!!! We are now going to be regular customers, thank you!

I had Chewy about 2 years ago. I canceled my account because shipping was a train wreck. About 6 months ago I reactivated my account because I was tired of driving 4 hours to get dog food. I order my dogs food once a month. After my break I thaught I'll try Chewy one more time to save money traveling for my dog food. Keep in mind free one- two day shipping. I order my things about 2 weeks in advance because I know how they can be. Placing your order they can hold it for 48hours before sending anything to FedEx! Every order before and recently I have had to call and see where my dog food was as it is 7-10 days for me to get my dog food. The 7-10 days is after they get my order to FedEx if you include the time it takes them to get my order to FedEx it's about 3-4 days! When I call they just say we will put in a complaint with FedEx and nothing gets done. I have gotten open containers, missing things, discolored dog food, etc. The list continues and NOTHING from them! Just we apologize or I'm sorry to hear. I am so disappointed with Chewy! I am canceling my membership for good this time and when I told the last rep that she said okay, I'm sorry bye. I didn't nor have I ever asked for a dime of my money back just to make things right, I said I'll send the open, discolored items back and you send me good but, no nothing just sorry.

I ordered dog food and after a week it had not arrived and my babies were out of food. I called the 24 hour hotline and immediately felt their care for my puppies. Without asking they refunded me money to buy some food while the food I ordered gets to me. The very nice lady told me to call the next day if the food hadn't come. Food didn't show up but the small bag I bought wouldn't last till monday so again sent me another partial refund so my babies never have to skip a meal. I 100% recommend this company they truly care about pets and their owners.

Chewy loves pets AND their people! We have had stellar experiences with this company for the last 2 years. They have unbelievable customer service, beyond expectations. Reps actually answer the phone, they are in the USA, and really, really care. Prompt shipping, and lightning fast resolution to the rare problem. When our Bengal cat had tummy issues with one type of food, they took great care of us. In today’s too-often impersonal e-commerce world, this is a standout company that still values personal communication and great service. Our dear Bengal cat passed away recently of a grave disease, and when Chewy found out about it, they send a note of condolence and FLOWERS to our home! We are heartbroken to lose our pet, but if we do decide to get another one, we will ABSOLUTELY order all our food and related pet care products from Chewy. We can’t thank you enough for your caring.
