Love Chewy, they have great customer service. Anytime I call I get a real preson. They have great products, prices, fast shipping. They have done special things when my pets have passed away. They go above and beyond.

To all Florida Residents that purchase PRESCRIPTION Dog Food & Prescription Medication (Prescriptions needed from a Veterinarian) from Chewy.com, you are being ripped off. The Sate of Florida states that Prescription Dog food & Medication is Exempt from Sales Tax. Chewy has been charging Sales Tax since 2019 to me. The first 4 years they were following the state rules but then got greedy & started ripping off their customers!! Very disappointed in their practice of doing business. I have been trying to recoup my money since June, 2025. Can only go back three years. Statue of limitations!!

For my first order with Chewy, I ordered 150 dollars worth. I have never received the package - FedEx claims otherwise but there is no signature form - and so I have not been refunded and the fault and loss falls on me. This is after several cordial chats with customer service and patience from my end. Of course mistakes can happen but I feel that the response from Chewy has left me down. Therefore I don’t recommend.

My wife and I regularly use chewy for our dog food and medicines. They are always polite and prompt in their shipments. There support is excellent, I would highly recommend them.

I like dealing with Chewy as a company. Their customer service is excellent, though I have not often had to use it. The problem I have with them is their choice of delivery companies. They use FEDEX Home Delivery, which is awful. My home is adjacent to a church building facing the street with an alley behind. I have my house number on the front and back. One time FEDEX delivered an order to the back of the church building alongside a locked gate in the alley. Another time, they left it on the church front steps. My house is situated on a hillside and the front street is about 20 steps lower than my front porch (two flights). They often leave orders at the bottom of the lower flight of steps. They could very easily drop off packages behind my house off the alley where they would not need to climb any steps. Instead they make me do it in spite of living alone with physical challenges. If I have to work hard to claim a delivery order, I might as well drive to the store myself, buy my pet food and bring it to my own back door. Chewy has been empathetic and says they will complain to FEDEX on my behalf, but sure enough - had to lug my order up the stairs again yesterday. Canceled my autoship and my Chewy.com account today.

Got emergency vet's prescription and instead of reaching out to the vet as they say they will, they called and emailed me over and over. After, over 20 minutes with two reps, I was never close to having the issue be resolved when they could have just reached out to the vet as they say they will do.

terrible customer service. I have contacted them everyday for the last 5 days becuase my card was charged and i still have not received my dog food. I will never purchase from this company again. the people on the chat are super unhelpful and just end the chat as you are trying to communicate.

I am making a point to write this review because this company is Super deserving of it. Chewy is far and beyond the competition when it comes to top notch customer service. In the event that you ever encounter an issue they are jolly on the spot to get it to corrected. they have been an invaluable and integral part of me taking care of my pets. I had two dogs to pass while utilizing Chewy and they refunded my money back for unused foods and even sent flowers as a condolence for the passing of my pets. They are exceptional.
