Chewy’s always go above and beyond. We haven’t had to contact their customer service often but each time we have, we’ve been pleasantly surprised by our experience. One time we had a bag of food we didn’t need we wanted to return. They told us to keep it and donate it to a local shelter but gave us our money back. Most recently we received some sweet potato snacks that had small worms inside. We needed to update our profile as we were trying to get our order returned and informed them that one of our dogs had passed away and needed to be removed. Fast forward a few days later and Chewy sent us a small bouquet of flowers to tell us how sorry they were for our loss. The flowers were a welcomed surprise as they arrived almost one year since he died. I’ve always heard positive things about Chewy and wanted to share my experience here.

I had an issue with one of my orders and reached out to Chewy’s customer service. Honestly, I’ve never experienced such friendly and efficient support! The representative was kind, patient, and went above and beyond to make things right — even following up to ensure I was satisfied. It’s rare these days to find a company that truly cares about its customers (and their pets), but Chewy definitely does.

Terrible! Ordered prescription food for our home in Florida. Provided veterinarian signed certificate confirming food was prescribed by a vet at VCA clinic in Canada. Have ordered from US site with Canadian authorization previously. Was not a problem. Was just told by Chewy representative that Chewy does not accept Canadian veterinary authorizations. Inconsistent rules. Service which cannot be trusted. Very disappointing!

Always satisfied with our Chewy orders; been ordering from them for 4+ years. The one time we received a defective product, I contacted customer service and they immediately sent out a replacement package with no questions asked. They send our cats birthday cards every year too - a thoughtful touch.

Terrible! I ordered two prescriptions and after 10 days they had not even shipped. I cancelled them and ordered them from Allivet.

I have used Chewy for several years now and I can't say enough good things about their customer service. If you have pets, I totally recommend using Chewy for your pet supplies. They're the best.

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience. My dog food order was delayed with no real updates or communication from the company. I reached out on Saturday and again on Sunday, but both times I was simply told what was already visible on the FedEx tracking page — no effort to actually resolve the issue. Because of the delay, I was forced to spend $50 on a different brand of dog food just to make sure my dog had something to eat. Anyone who knows about pet care understands that transitioning to a new food has to be done gradually to avoid stomach issues, so this situation has been stressful and unnecessary. To make things worse, the company only offered a $5.00 credit for the inconvenience, which feels like a weak response considering the lack of communication and the extra cost I had to take on. The brand I normally order is only available through this website, so I expected much better service and reliability. Also keep in mind I have 3 dogs in which I have been ordering from Chewy for over 10 years. The customer service has really went down hill. I’ll have to reconsider ordering from here again.

They sent me the wrong dog food two times in a row. Therefore my dog went a week without her kibble. Instead of being sorry and trying to make it right they said I had to send back the last bag which was wrong before they could send out the correct bag which would have meant another 5 days (at least) my dog wouldn't have kibble. Absolutely ridiculous customer service
