My vet changed the type of probiotic I needed for my dog right after I ordered a month's supply. When I phoned my call was answered right away. I received a full refund and Alexis the rep told me I did not have to return the product and that I could donate it to a local rescue. That type of customer service is tough to beat.

Permanent rescheduling of delivery dates without notice. For a long time they could not agree with the clinic permission to sell diet food for a cat. It turned out that they sent the request to the wrong clinic. If possible, avoid this store. I ordered the 1st, until today there is still no delivery, although my cat after the clinic needs specialized feed.

I am a brand new customer to Chewy. I created an account and ordered one 25Ib bag of dry dog food with 3 cases of wet dog food. I received an email the very next day advising that my information needed verification prior to the order being released. I called in immediately and provided the needed verification of shipping address, order amount etc.. I was then advised by customer service that my order would be released. Today, I receive another e-mail from Chewy advising that my order cannot be processed and I must contact them within the next 24 hours otherwise my order will be cancelled. I just called and customer service cannot explain or advise why my order still has a block on it, which upsets me. Furthermore, when I log into my Chewy account, the order shows no status issue whatsoever. Why is this so complicated??? Why must I called in twice now and worst yet I don't even know if the matter is resolved as customer service said "I am going to pass this along to my pod team requesting the block on your order be removed".

I have been a Chewy.com customer since December 9, 2017. Since that time this company continues to impress me more and more. Their prompt delivery service is amazing. I usually get the products I purchase within 1-2 days. The products are well described and many customers have shared their experiences so you have a good idea of what sizes or products are best suited for the pet you're buying for. The customer service is always knowledgeable, easy to work with, and does their very best to make sure customers are 100% satisfied. (I have only ever needed a replacement one time, and it was taken care of and remedied extraordinarily well.) Today was the icing on the cake. Earlier in the week, I had emailed the company that my 12-year-old Golden Lab had passed away, and that I would need her profile removed. Then today I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers in a lovely glass vase with a sympathy card attached from Chewy.com. to send their condolences on my loss. It was the nicest thing any company or corporation I have ever dealt with has done for me. Thank you Chewy.com for being an amazing company.

My mother passed away a few months ago and she had started using chewy to get my grandmothers dogs food delivered to her door step. She did this to make it easier on my nanny because it was difficult for her to carry the heavy back of special dog food that her lab needs for her food allergies. I called chewy to get the account switched over from her name to my name so I could help take care of that for my grandmother. My grandmother also is keeping my moms dog and chewy also is delivering her food! I can’t say enough of how kind John from chewy was to me over the phone and helped make a hard situation easier on me to help get this done for my grandmother. My grandmother just sent me a picture of beautiful flowers that John had delivered to her home. All I can say is WOW and thank you for the kindness to our family. You have no idea how much your kindness and compassion means to us...

I have to share that I normally do not write about positive experiences. So often we take the time to write a bad review if we are upset but less often do we give praise to those great experiences. I am writing about a great experience. Ashley D. and Lauren M. not only solved my return question in the easiest way for me as the consumer but also asked about my pets. I shared that I lost one of our beloved animals and Lauren responded with a very caring email. It made me feel not only connected to Chewy as a company that cares about it's customers but also a company that cares about animals and wants to provide excellent customer service.

Delayed shipments: August 2019. 6 days late. Dog food sat on truck in hot weather. It smelled when it was delivered. November 2019. Dog food is six days late due to cyber shopping over the weekend. I think the regular dog food customers take precedent over new customers buying toys for under the tree. Chewy needs to hire more people before they lose their business. Dogs need to eat!!! I have mastiffs with food allergies and just cannot eat any junky food. So I really depend on these deliveries to be on time. Will be looking at other companies for future deliveries
