I had recently ordered canned blue buffalo to get my 9 yr 5 month old chocolate lab to put on xtra weight. Our 16 year old senior dog had just been euthanized because he couldn’t get up and our lab was taking it hard and not eating. Well Milk Dud had suddenly developed bloat and GVD and had to also be euthanized on December 21st. I was at work and called them because I was on autoship and wanted his food order canceled. They did that no problem they even reimbursed my money which was not necessary. Then a day later I received sympathy flowers from chewy.com. Such empathy and compassion from a wonderful company. It brought tears to my eyes.

I called chewy.com this morning at 8:40 am. I spoke to a young man and ask him about an American-made stainless steel dog bowl that I could order. After searching his computer he gave me an item number asked me if I wanted to order it. I told him I would look it up myself which I did to find out that the product is made in India. I can only guess that he seen it was distributed from Ohio so he may have thought it was made here. But I do believe chewy.com should better trained their representatives. It's unfortunate when consumers are misled like this.

I called support after accidentally ordering a cat version of a product (I don't have a cat) expecting to get refunded and have to pay the shipping to return the product. They told me to donate the product to a vet or cat owner and shipped me the dog version (expedited it seems since it showed up today, 1 day later). I'm super surprised and pleased by the level of service.

Chewy is Crazy Awesome!! I ordered 8 cat scratch pads, not knowing they had cat nip infused, which I didn’t want. I called Chewy asking them if I can ship them back. They apologized for misunderstanding and said they would fully refund me (which they immediately did), and said I could keep the cat pads and give to a friend or donate to rescue facility.

Ordered my fur babies food last night and it arrived after lunch today. I’m paying the same price that I pay to drive and pick up myself. Never again!

On December 17th, we had to say goodbye to our 15-year-old Yorkie. I can’t explain the void we now have in our house. After the holidays, I saw that we had prescription food unopened. I called Chewy.com to ask them if I could return the food. Not only did they reimburse my credit card, they told me to donate the food in our dog’s memory. Last night, I got home from work and noticed something on my front porch. To my surprise Chewy.com sent me flowers sending their sympathy. This company has always been great but this is more than I would expect from a company. If you have not done so already, please visit chewy.com and support this wonderful company. You and your fur baby will not be disappointed. 💕

Terrible experience with Chewy. All around. This was our first time purchasing something from them and were thinking of purchasing our dog food through them as well. Good thing we didn’t! I ordered dog pjs and a sweater on November 26 (2 days before Thanksgiving). We purposefully ordered two items so we would qualify for the 1-2 day shipping. Estimated delivery date said December 3rd (not what we paid for, but it was the holidays so we cut them some slack). December 3rd came and went. Estimated delivery date: December 4th. Estimated delivery date: December 5th. Estimated delivery date: December 6th. 10 days after we placed the order! We decided to email them and find out what was going on. No response. Estimated delivery date: December 7th. Estimated delivery date: December 10th. We emailed again (12 days after original purchase). After no response, we decided to call. The person on the phone was SUPER unhelpful. Couldn’t understand why our package hadn’t been delivered yet and didn’t know where it was. They sent a “replacement” even though we specifically said we didn’t want a replacement. Finally, an email response after the phone call: “Sorry we can’t find your order. Can you give us your phone number.” We literally included our order number in the subject of the email not to mention my name is on the email. Expected delivery date: December 11th. Expected delivery date: December 12th. Expected delivery date: December 13th. The person on the phone said our package should definitely be there on December 12th and if not, the replacement would arrive by the end of December 13th or 14th at the latest. Estimated delivery date: December 14th. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. By this point, we were so fed up we just wanted our money back. We emailed them and asked for a refund. They emailed back apologizing that our food was late (WHAT?) and issued us a refund for $19.97 (??). We paid for a sweater for $45.95 and pjs for $21.40.....what?! We responded with an attached receipt and asked for a FULL refund for the ACTUAL items we paid for. Then another email saying we’ll refund you the remaining balance of $23.27 (still $30 short!!). We called and they said they couldn’t do another refund because it had already been done and someone would contact us from management. Never did we hear from them again. We got too tired of fighting it so we lost $30. In case you were wondering, the packages did arrive. 3 weeks after the original purchase. We got one sweater and 2 dog pjs. WHAT. Anyway, we will be donating the pjs because they are sized terribly and we will NEVER order from Chewy again. What a nightmare!

I have been using Chewy for a very long time but recently I’ve noticed changes. The boxes I now receive have 2-3 bags of cat litter in one box. Even the delivery people won’t carry my boxes upstairs (I’m on the 2nd floor of an apartment) and they leave them downstairs. (Not exactly safe and not truly delivered to me.) I’ve called their customer service to request smaller boxes and two representatives didn’t know how to answer me and said to just order each item separately. If I order each item separately, the shipping costs won’t be worth the savings. I even asked them if they only have one size box and try to cram all they can into that box....they actually said yes! What happened to this company?! The customer service use to be great and I’ve never had any issues. I guess I’m going back to my old way of shopping and cancelling my orders with Chewy.
