Customer service was always helpful and autoship made getting our pupa medications a breeze. We recently lost our dog and they not only refunded our last autoship but also were so kind in how they handled the situation. Chewy and their customer service representatives are so thoughtful and helpful.

Chewy is biased towards dogs and their target audience is dog owners. They don’t tailor their email responses to their audience. They assume everyone is a dog owner/lover, using boiler plate language like “give us a bark if you need anything else” and “have a tail wagging great day” even if you contact them regarding a cat product. They have numerous tv commercials, almost entirely of dogs. In the rare occurrence there is a cat, it’s in the background, hardly noticeable. In one commercial, a spokeswoman talks about not having to lug heavy cat litter from the store, yet there isn’t a single cat in the commercial—only dogs! I contacted their corporate office and told them given cats outnumber dogs in pet ownership, I would think they would want to target cat owners as well, but instead they project themselves as being biased towards dogs by excluding cats from their commercials. The fact they never responded is very telling. They are selective in which negative reviews they post. They only post negative reviews that are inane (ex. product stinks, pet didn’t like it). They wouldn’t post my review which provided constructive criticism and scientific evidence—product caused diarrhea and vomiting even after ruling out other possible causes—because they didn’t want it to impact their bottom line—sales. There are plenty of pet retailers who love cats and who appreciate the business and feedback of their owners. And Petco and Entirely Pets will match other retailers’ prices.

I received an order with only one bag of dog food instead of the two I ordered. After a short time chatting with a rep the new bag is on its way with no problems. By far the best customer service in the industry. Quick and efficient.

I have had nothing but amazing service from Chewy. Christmas we got a handwritten card and when I returned $100 in items they told me to keep them and donate them to a local shelter. I honestly couldn't believe it. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was kind and thoughtful as well. Best customer service I have received in a long time!

Agents are available 24/7 and are pleasant and helpful. It is easy to set up recurring orders so I don't run out of needed supplies, and also easy to adjust those orders to specialize a shipment. Orders generally arrive within 48 hours! You will not be disappointed.

I recently had a broken item sent to my house from Chewy. It was a packaging issue and more from the manufacturer not Chewy. When Chewy asked about my experience I commented on the broken item and left the review. The next day I received an apology from Chewy and they sent a replacement item to me no questions asked. Always been happy with Chewy's service. My comment is on the cat food itself. The Friskies Turkey and Giblets was unavailable for a long time and now that it's back, only the small can is offered. I feed a colony of cats and the big can is more convenient since I open 20 at a time. My home cats eat Fancy Feast tuna and cheese. It looks different now and my cats do not like it. Why has the recipe changed? Definitely not the same. Please give us an explanation as I see I'm not the only one commenting on this. How is the price increased - for something not nearly as good?
