I have been using Chewy for about 3 years now to ship me food for my two 200 lb dogs and one little rabbit. I go thru ALOT of food with my dogs and I can honestly say that I have never had a single complaint with Chewy. Chewy’s customer service reps are some of the best out there. They are a large company but they treat you like they are a small old fashioned company. Their prices seem to be as good if not better than any other company. I love their Auto Ship program and how easy it is to make changes if needed. With this program I never have to worry about having to place an order for food or go to the store. They always give me plenty of notice before they ship my next order so I can easily make changes to it if needed. They also have an incredible satisfaction guarantee/return policy . If you are not happy with a product, you can return it for a refund up to a year after purchasing it, wether the package has been opened or not. About a year ago I got a bad bag of dog food I called Chewy to explain the issue and without having to ask or beg for a refund, they sent me out a new bag of food. They didn’t even make me send the old bag of food back. I don’t write very many reviews unless a company really blows me away with their product, website and customer service. Chewy has definitely set the bar high for all these items and consistently goes above and beyond what I expect from a company. I am definitely a customer for life!!!

Chewy.com is amazing! We just spoke to a customer service representative to return two items because they were too large for our cat. The Rep helped us find the best size, and when we asked her how we can return the items we initially ordered, she said, "You can donate them to an animal shelter. But please donate to a non-profit." We were so surprised by this answer, and just loved Chewy even more that they do this!! Thank you Chewy!

Charged me twice for a order they can’t figure out why and told me to contact my bank and figure it out. Why is it my job to find out why they double charged me

We bought a special type of dog food for our dog and then she ended up passing away before we could use it. I called to return it and then a couple days later I get this beautiful set of flowers from them. Thank you so much

Very poor shipping practices I have been a Chewy.com customer since 2018 and have contacted them directly regarding their shipping practices. When their warehouse packs their boxes, they do not use enough packing materials to protect the products. Case in point - today I received my most recent order - 2 boxes of cat litter, 2 boxes of catbox deodorizer and 1 bag of cat food. The box was crushed when delivered, the cat litter crushed the catbox deodorizer and resulted in spilled content on everything in the box. Unfortunately, in an effort to reduce their carbon pawprint (as stated on the box) they are sacrificing product and customer goodwill. I will definitely limit my purchases to protect the items I do buy.

A day after placing dog food order, my fiancé and I had to put one of our dear pups, Cerberus, to sleep after a prolonged illness. We emailed to see if Chewy.com could cancel Cerberus's part of the order; however, it had shipped. Not only did they refund that portion of my purchase, today we received a beautiful bouquet of flowers along with a lovely card. We were both so touched.

1st order on Chewy.com and it was the biggest headache. Placed order on a Thursday had it delivered to my work, they "attempted" to make delivery Sat and Sun (Obviously closed) I just figured they would deliver on Monday like any other delivery that was scheduled over the weekend for an office. Monday came and just about went before I decided to check the tracking of this package. Tracking page showed "Delayed" as carrier had "Attempted" and was unsuccessful. Not sure how they weren't able to deliver as it's an office and there is always some one here. Now while I do understand once the package is in the FedEx system Chewy isn't entirely responsible for what the FedEx driver does or doesn't do. However, I called Chewy and spoke to a very friendly customer service rep and she assured me that they would get a manager in touch with FedEx and let them know it's a business and someone will call me before the delivery is actually made. Tuesday, no call from anyone, checked tracking number again and stated that attempt was unsuccessful AGAIN! Got Chewy people on the phone for a second time, and (I wasn't as lucky to speak with someone nice) she pretty much told me the same this other lady had the day before. But offered zero help and suggested I just call Fedex myself. Which I did and they had no communication for anyone at Chewy about delivery details or a phone number to call before delivery was attempted again. So this tells me Chewy made no attempts to make sure my package was actually delivered. They got my money and that's all they seemed to care about. We'll see if my package ever comes. I asked about just getting a refund at this point and Chewy lady said they would need the package delivered back to them 1st. (which I guess is understandable) but if it's lost in FedEx land who knows if I will even get that as an option. I've never had so much trouble getting a package. I hope I didn't waste $120 bucks. I will not be shopping at this company any further

Chewy's 1-2 day shipping guarantee is not dependable. My last two orders have been delayed. They also have an issue with packaging. My last order came in severely broken up and they had to replace 4 items requiring more wait time. I tried them again and am once again disappointed. My order is delayed. Buyer beware.
