Chewy’s customer service is always prompt and attentive. They really care about our pets! Anytime I order from their site, the items arrive timely and as expected. The one time something I ordered broke within a couple weeks, I notified them and they immediately shipped out a replacement free of charge.

I absolutely love Chewy
I absolutely love Chewy! I have 9 dogs and 6 cats. I get all my food and litter from Chewy delivered. No more hurting my back at the store. They deliver it, my husband brings it in. I don't pay anymore than I would at the store.

Company was great, and now it's just awful!
I would give them NO stars if I could. It is so disappointing what they have done to this company since they joined forces with Petsmart. They used to be the best. I would receive my orders in 1 to 2 days, and I didn't have to be concerned that I would run out because they were so dependable. They also wrapped the cat litter box so it definitely wouldn't open during shipping. When you called, they picked up after one ring! Now you wait a good 40 minutes and listen to awful music and a recording constantly saying they'll be right with you. I ordered some food the morning of the 12th and it went out, and I eventually received it 5 days later. The tracking would just say pending, so I had no idea when it would arrive, and I was low on food. I just called them and let them know how aggravated and disappointed that what was once a great company is now awful, and I'll have to order from Petco from now on. Unfortunately they are often out of what I buy. Well, that's my review!

Chewy
Chewy. Amazing isn't the word. Every time I call, I get the sweetest person. Every time I email, I get the sweetest person. I have always gotten a refund or something sent to me in return of what I made a mistake of. This time around they caught my entire heart...this time they sent the house some flowers because a few months ago we lost one of our babies (a cat). To Elizabeth from chewy, your heart has mine and thank you. Thank you for giving me tears of happiness about something that hurt ever so much. Here's to hoping I bump into you again on the phone or online. Thank you Chewy for having amazing people and caring about our pets as much as we do ♡

They send cards in the mail saying you…
They send cards in the mail saying you will save $15 off a $50 order and then the cart says Card number invalid.
They send you emails saying get this amount off your order and then they say "only for new customers" which I'm not and haven't been for a while. Doesn't their software know they got my email from my previous orders?
And worst! They pack the boxes so heavy the UPS can hardly get them in the garage. I can't get them in the house. I have to break down and bring in one item at a time.
Thanks for breaking people's backs.
Their prices are good, but I don't like the inconvenience. I'd rather pay more for reasonable packaging

Great products and customer service!
Chewy is a great site! They always have high quality products, and when buying in bulk (dog food, treats, etc.) you can save with their free shipping option. Also, AMAZING customer service. I wanted to return a sweater that didn't fit my dog, and they refunded the amount, waived the shipping fee on my new sweater, AND let me keep the old one to be donated to a local shelter. I'll be shopping here again!

If your animal is dying, Chewy won't care.
One star is more than this company deserves! I have documentation of all of this.
Chewy's egregious incompetence may have just cost the life of a beloved family member. My cat Yoda is suffering from stage-3 kidney failure. I ordered a variety of prescription diets for him on March 7. Chewy faxed prescription approval to my vet, who responded that morning. My order should have arrived no later than March 9 with the promised delivery in one to two days.
Two days later, it had not arrived. I contacted Chewy and was told the vet approved only one of the foods, and that they were waiting for approval for the remainder. This was a LIE and I can prove it. I quickly spoke to the person at my vet's office, who said that they'd approved the diet, and who did not know why Chewy would say otherwise.
Chewy resubmitted the order on March 12. My vet approved the order again. Chewy emailed me that the order was shipped, and that it would arrive by March 14. It did not.
I went back onto Chewy's website. Via chat with an unempathetic rep named Nia J., who reiterated the lie about my vet providing only partial approval, and who offered me a $25 refund-- as if that's all Yoda's worth! To Chewy, he's only worth the price of a couple of pizzas. She also made the excuse that a large influx of orders has caused shipping delays, but Chewy's website said nothing about that and still doesn't. She also emailed me a .pdf of my vet's approval. This is how I know that Chewy lied about this and that it wasn't an error on the part of my vet's employee. Really, Chewy, if you're going to lie, it's poor strategy to provide proof of your dishonesty.
I then called Chewy because this experience, which was already an abomination, was progressively getting worse. The rep I spoke to was no better and she reiterated the lie about my vet not providing approval for the prescription diet, all without an iota of empathy, so I told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor, whose name was Anna, admitted that my vet had indeed provided quick approval, and that an employee named Miguel G. had botched the order.
Meanwhile, in this delay of nearly a week, Yoda's health has declined. He has lost nearly 1.5 pounds.
Chewy: How DARE you pretend to care about animals?
