This is not the 1st time Chewy has been out of stock for MANY, MANY items. While pet parents have stockpiled pet food from them for the last 3+ weeks, Chewy fails to address this on their website in an upfront manner. All they post is about shipping delays - not the fact most products are unavailable -- and have been for weeks! Yet they still run their commercials NON STOP. PetsMart stores have always had abyssmal stocking; considering they own Chewy it shouldn't be surprising but it is. Chewy needs better inventory management AND a site upgrade to better indicate what is out of stock rather than having to waste time and bandwidth clicking on each item.

I’m not understanding why there isn’t more of a priority when it comes to shipping prescription products. I placed an order for my 14 year old dogs heart medication on Sunday, it’s now Wednesday night, my vet provided the prescription for the medication first thing Monday morning and the order is just sitting “preparing for shipment.” My dog needs this medication, you’d think there would be just a little bit of consideration when medications are ordered. They should be shipped immediately! Not sitting around for days being prepared for shipment!

Chewy seems to be in total meltdown. They get their shipping together and their customer service is woefully overwhelmed. Wait time to get through are over 30 minutes. I have items that I ordered a week ago that I still don’t have. The site claims they have shipped, but that’s not true. I live 40 minutes from the warehouse that these items we’re supposedly shipped from and it’s been 3 days? The site is not reflecting reality. I can appreciate the increased demand from all the fools hoarding dog food, but chewy should have been able to handle it without completely imploding. I have items I ordered from Amazon days after I order from Chewy that have already arrived after being shipped across the country. Chewy should be able to ship across town! I’ll stop using from now on. I would prefer to support local smaller businesses even if it cost a few dollars more.

Shame on you Chewy !!!!! Not HONEST !!! .... You should not be on this business , you have zero empathy and everyone is so dishonest. I have a dog with heart condition, i ordered his medicine a week ago. Still have not been shipped. If they told me the truth, maybe i would not be so upset. First they told me that they were waiting for my clinics approval. Even my clinic sent couple of faxes and emails ( i was cc’ed too) , they were keep telling me that they did not receive it. Finally they got it after 7 days. Now they do not know when the item will be shipped. They do not give me a time frame. I have sent so many emails, even social media messages to get attention. Nothing worked. To speak with someone, u need to hold min 45 minutes. Then do not get surprised if you get disconnected in the middle of your conversation. Of course , nobody will call you back. As a pet owner , i would recommend you to order from other online companies whose policies are more transparent and genuinely care about our loved ones. They do not care !!!!!! Shame on you Chewy !!!

Shipping was fast. Ordering was easy but when I tried to order some food for my grandma I had issues. I put in her address and it didn’t save it it said it would ship to me. I called customer service and was on hold for 30 minutes. No big deal I know they are swamped right now. The guy that helped me was very nice and helpful and assured me he could fix it and that it would be delivered to her house. He took down her information and we told him they would need to call her because she is in a gated community he said no problem. He finished and told me it was fixed I thanked him. 6 days later both orders were delivered to me. So now I have to deliver it myself while I’m supposed to be at home and not going anywhere. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love chewy. But what I don't understand is you are on Auto ship you should be guaranteed to get this order every month right or am I just crazy? Every time I do Auto-Ship something goes wrong! This happens on Greenies all the time! I can see if you just singed up that month but man this is my 2nd month. I did get it before as well and I was on it for over a year and then it happened that I could not get them because they are out of stock. Not sure why there is Auto-Ship if it doesn't work like that.!

During these tough times someone stole my case of cat food off my porch. Chewy sent me a new order at no cost. I am so grateful as I know all companies and people are suffering a bit due to Coronavirus. I have been a customer of theirs for only a bit over a year, so this was super nice of them.

What an epic failure. I depended on you guys to be there for my pets and you completely let me down. Each time I placed an AutoShip order, I was able to modify it because my cat does not like to eat the same thing so I get different types of food for her. Everything is out of stock. No email warning to give me an advance notice that stock was running low on anything. Just a big slap in the face when I went in and tried to add things to my cart. So I depended on you guys and I never even had a chance to go out somewhere and buy something else because I depended on you guys and you completely and totally let me and my family of pets down. You just lost a customer.
