I've been using them for years for auto shipping which is supposed to stay the same price.... Prices have now increased two-fold. I call this price gouging. I received an email that said that they put back items for people who had auto-ship in a warehouse so why does it cost me more?

Please buy your pet products from Chewy. I asked them if I could return a bag of food I no longer needed because my dog Brady passed away. Not only did they credit my account and ask me to donate the food, they sent flowers. Unbelievable.

I will not use this company again. I ordered an ear wash product for my dog, and it took them a week to pack & ship, another 4 days in transit, and then arrived in a box that was literally 10 times the size needed to ship an 8 ounce bottle.

I’ve been using Chewy for a couple of years and have always been happy with them. Until now. They’ve spiked prices on the dog food I normally buy, the price on a 30-lb bag going from $48 to $60 and the price of treats going from $4 to almost $12. That’s price gouging during this pandemic and when it is over, I will be cancelling my subscription.

Worst customer service or should I say no customer service. Ordered one bag of food and a couple toys.I get a huge box with only toys in it 7 days after ordering.You can see that it had been opened and retaped and the label says it is 29 lbs so I know the food was in there.I call and on hold for 45 minutes to find out "oh we ran out of food at that Warehouse so it been shipped out of PA". I said that's kind of funny seeing that it looks like it was in the box already and you guys pulled it back out and retaped the box and the tag says 29lbs. I was accidentally hung up on yeah right.It took them seven days to reply to a email.I had to go-to the local store to buy food because I had no idea when chewy was actually going to send my food.Good thing I did 14days later I get my food that was supposedly already shipped.I guess they forgot you can see the tracking of when it was really shipped.I will just support my local store not worth the hassle with chewy.I hope you go belly up chewy after screwing your customers around.

Excellente Servicio al Cliente. Ayer llame a Chewy customer service para regresar unos articulos comprados ateriormente debido a que mi adorado perrito murio hace 3 dias, me escucharon, me ayudaron con mi solicitud y me dieron las condolencias sinceras, asi lo senti. Lo he confirmado hoy, mi sorpresa es que recibi unas flores y una nota de Chewy dandome las condolencias. Eso si es ser humano y me hizo sentir tan bien que esta compania tenga compasion por lo que nos pasa a los duenos de mascotas en las buenas y en las malas. Gracias Chewy por su atencion. Mr Mendoza

I had been ordering and auto shipping with Chewy for months when the Coronavirus hit the US. Suddenly they ran out of my pet food and didn’t notify me until my order was shipping. Obviously they sold out to the hoarders or others who suddenly didn’t want to shop in person. Chewy has zero respect for established customers and left us high and dry. I reached out to their supposedly excellent “24/7 customer service” several times but only got form letters about how hard they are trying and how I should be patient for each response. My order was placed over a month ago and they sold my items out from under me. Pathetic management and zero customer service. I will never order from them again.

Overall, Chewy.com is great. Unfortunately the dry cat food I need is out of stock so I decided to try another flavor of the same cat food. This was also out of stock. You need to let customers know when items that are out of stock will be available for online ordering. I don't want to order a different food since I do not know if my cat will eat it. She is picky.
