Chewy.comReviews of chewy.com

As a small pet rescue for hospice and senior dogs, Chewy has been there for us during this crisis. I would go between Amazon and Chewy for my needs, but Amazon has chosen to ignore the needs of the many rescues out there by putting a cap on the amount of dog food you are able to order. Even after talking to many supervisors at Amazon, they refused to override their system to meet our needs. Chewy has now earned our full loyalty. I guess it is during a crisis when you find out who really has your back. If there are any other recues out there in the same boat, you have found the right place. If you support rescues out there, then know you found a company that supports us and are in good hands. Thank you to everyone at Chewy for being there for our pets. I know their bellies will be full during their final days upon this earth.

I've been a long time user of Chewy.com, and they used to have incredible customer service. Today I called with an issue of my credit card being incorrectly charged, and the representative was extremely rude. Usually, this issue of a mistaken Auto-shipment would be quickly solved. However, she insisted on escalating it to her supervisor, didn't believe me, tried to argue with me, and made me not want to be a customer any longer. This was after I had tried calling multiple times this week and waited 55+ minutes each time. Even in the COVID-19 situation, I would expect Chewy.com to do whatever they can to retain their customers and ensure that transactions are correct. This was EXTREMELY disappointing, and I am considering getting my dog's items somewhere else now.

I have been a client of Chewy for many years, but they really dropped the ball on me during the Corona Virus emergency. I understand the strain Chewy must be under to fill orders, but at the same time, I trusted them to do what they said they would do. I had an urgent need for prescription pet food. When I ordered, they said delivery time would take a bit longer than usual. The next day I received an email stating it would take up to 10 days. I called, was told my call would be answered in 25 minutes, and finally hung up after about an hour. I emailed, was told emails would be returned in about 3 days....have never received a reply. Just received an email that my order had shipped, but without the prescription food that was needed. Just looked and it is now listed as out of stock on their website, but I was never notified. I can't help but feel that these were issues that could have been addressed (i.e. email returned, notification that prescription food would not be coming) even during this crisis. Just writing to make others aware, in the hopes that other ill pets are not put at risk by what seems to me like utter lack of accountability.

Thank ya'll so much for the beautiful flowers I received today due to the loss of my beloved Olivia! I had no idea ya'll did that! It means the world to me, and I highly recommend your services! :) Kind Regards, Amy Saucier

Chewy.com remains unsurpassed in terms of customer service, pricing and delivery. About 50% of their reps are highly knowledgeable and can provide guidance on specific products based on your pet's requirements. Would highly recommend.

Chewy is the best! I have been using Chewy for the past year (my cat is 1yr old) and they have the best customer service I have ever encountered! I had a product that just wasnt what I wanted. They refunded me and I was able to donate it to my local shelter! Any problems I have had have been immediately and professionally handled. Today I received, as a gift, a hand drawn canvas picture of my cat! It was a replica of the photo I use for my account!! Chewy IS the best!!

I LOVE chewy. I have never dealt with a greater company. They send hand written Christmas cards, get my order to me fast and efficiently, always have great sales, and just this week I accidentally ordered the wrong bag of dog food that was 50lbs FIFTY. Quite a large sum. I asked how I can ship it back to refund it and they said they refunded it but to just donate to a shelter nearby 😭 I LOVE chewy more than anything. You are such a great, big hearted company.

My first time using this company and probably my last. Bought some prescription dog food and they canceled my order. The price was the same as my vets prices so it is not like I am saving money just trying to make it more convenient for me. Can’t get a hold of anyone to see why the order was canceled. Looking at their reviews seems like price gouging and poor business practice is a common theme here.
