If I could give 0 stars I would, I have been buying dog food and medicine for my dogs for years with them, which I have autoships for, with this Covid-19 they keep shipping to everybody else before their long time customers, I had to change the items in my cart 2-3 times because they were out of stock, they didn’t even send an email or anything about it I was checking on the app for me to see that it was out of stock, then they said my order would take 10days more to get delivered after it had been placed 5 days ago, horrible customer service, they are quick to take your money but not to ship your items, I’ve always had issues with them saying my order is free delivery after the $49 which I always purchase $100 and it’s 1-2 days and they never deliver on time 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Just go to your local pet smart or petco and price match the food to their website since they wanna act dumb

They are caving into new customers hoarding and not honoring loyal customers that have done business with them before COVID-19. I've switched to another supplier, thanks for nothing Chewy

So I recently had an auto ship and was told my payment would not go through, so I tried and still it did not go thru. I skipped a month and bought my pet food elsewhere. 1 wk after the original date if auto ship they send me a confirmation email your items have shipped. So angry during a pandemic they don't skip my month take another $100 from me that I don't have and say sorry. Chewy has now taken money from my kids plates so thank you Chewy I will never use you again.

Despite this being a hectic time, Chewy resolved a shipping issue within hours, stress free. Thank you chewy!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My cats are on a prescription diet which I have ordered from chewy before and have a prescription card that I even uploaded for them again. I usually just buy my food from the pet store which has my vet inside but every pet store is out of there food right now due to the Covid 19 issue and so I was looking to order from chewy to make it easier and to get on an auto ship plan for the future. After waiting for 2 weeks I was finally told that they could not send my order and that they are canceling it because they would like me to go to the vet for a check up first. The vet is only taking emergency appointments right now because of what is going on and I am advised by my doctor not to leave the house because of pre existing medical conditions. My cats have been on the same prescription for 7 years and this should not be an issue. I tried to change there food once before and I wound up with a very sick cat and thousands of dollars in vet bills. I explained this all to chewy in hopes they would honor sending me a bag of food since they have placed my order before and I do have a valid prescription card but they just said no with no other options for me. I’m am extremely disappointed in how they handled this situation as my cats need to eat and I had no other option as I did try to call 10 different pet stores that carry it and no one had any in stock. I will never attempt to order from chewy again and I will never recommend it to anyone else. This is a terrible way to do business.

What has happened to Chewy saddens me. I have been a very large customer for many years without complaint (except for the way FedEx mishandles deliveries and that's a different matter) but as someone points out below, Chewy has melted down. They are incapable of dealing with the current virus crisis. The quality of their customer service has gone from five stars to zero. I dislike making Jeff Bezos at Amazon still richer and I deplore the way he exploits his employees but Amazon processed a large order immediately, used three different carriers to get it to me, and beat their own very short delivery estimate. They're already offering me one-click reordering. Meanwhile, Chewy is sending me emails of the "my dog ate the shipping order" variety. Weeks have gone by without them keeping a promise to deliver some backordered products that they can't seem to keep in stock in any case. Heads up! In fairness Chewy has gotten their act together. Their service is almost back to normal. Hope it stays that way.

First time buyer - I ordered a ramp and some other things for my dog an hour after his appointment for a torn ACL. I was informed that orders would shipped be a few days later than normal, that's understandable with everything happening with COVID-19. It's a week later and my order still says "preparing to ship" so I called to see if it was possible to expedite just the ramp - after a 45 min hold the rep that answered the phone informed me I could cancel my order and look for a ramp on amazon. I'm actually shocked over her response. I work a call center, I know places are flooded with calls right now, but at least lie. I fully understand that there may be absolutely nothing they can do but a little "let me place you on hold for a second and look" wouldn't have hurt. It could have given her a second to breathe and collect herself.

Thank you Chewy! Your shipments have always been an exciting event for my cats (they even love your box!) And now in these times of shelter at home, your service is a godsend! Keep up the great work and know this fan is keeping all Chewy staff, especially my nephew, in thoughts and prayers! #WeAreInThisTogether
