They are horrible with autoship medications. Do not rely on them for your pet's medication. I had insulin for my dog on autoship and had a problem every single time!! My lab can't go without his insulin so I had to go to my local CVS to fill it. Please skip Chewy for medicine - the $15 in savings isn't worth the stress and complications. Oh, and the ice packs were always melted when we received the package - they ship long distances with no hurry involved.

I have been using Chewy for years. The slipups in the past they were always quick to politely recitify but this time there is not rectification. My cat has IMHA. She almost died from it, with a PCV of 5% several vets told me to euthanize her. But a new doctor and several blood transfusions later she has made it to 2 years old. Her regime consist of prednisolone and Atopica now. I ordered Monday. To my annoyance the vet never faxed the rc Tuesday. I called and left a voicemail and email. I was called and emailed today (wednesday)and told they faxed the RX back at 9am. Awesome I thought, Hopefully Chewy will ship out today. Things got hella busy at work. I get home and login. Chewy website reports they have received no RX. I call and am transfered to the shortest, smart mouthed lady. "Well it takes 3-5 days for order and this it hasn't even been three full days". But did I ask her that? NO. I asked where is the prescription if my vet sent it and got the confirmation on the fax it had been successfully sent. Now I have to wait the two days it will take my vet to order it. Knowing I only had 4 days left of medication, I wish I never bothered with Chewy. If Chewy is going to have a pharmacy they need to realize some of those meds are life saving medications and it's not a game.

I notified Chewy to cancel my dog’s prescription yesterday and today I received a bouquet with a condolence card from Chewy. We all need to support Chewy as they are an outstanding and compassionate company. I will continue to order all of my pets needs from Chewy. Thank you. Denise Maile

I recently ordered for the first time and what I received was not what I purchased. Which was inconvenient. They not only made things right the let me keep the package I got and resent my purchase also added a full refund. I am totally blown away with the great customer service. I will definitely be ordering again and will recommend to all!

Had two separate orders that was sent to same address, both said they were delivered at 1:50 in the afternoon yet neither were at my place. Called fedex which is who was suppose to deliver them and got the run around. I was told by fedex it could take up to 2-3 weeks to get my money back. I ordered 2 flea collars which my dogs are allergic to flea dander and chew severely on themselves to where they pull their hair out and are bald. Anyways after getting no where on the first day with fedex the second day i call chewy, both ladies i spoke with were amazing. Within 5 minutes and no questions asked and tons of apologizing from them they stated they have this problem with fedex often. I dont hold that against them because again no issue what so ever they sent out both flea collars again. This is the best customer service i have ever received, i will do business with them again because of this. Thank you chewy !!!

Used to be excellent! No need to even go into detail about he said she said thing. Get some kind, reliable customer service representatives like you used to have & that don't mislead the customers. I understand there's a pandemic out there but...Last three or four orders have been messed up and one was before Covid. Very poor communication. Very rough on the elderly with pets when we depend on you. AND PLEASE INSIST YOUR REPS HAVE AUDIBLE, ELECTRONICS WHILE WORKING FROM HOME.

I was overwhelmed by the customer care Chewy provided. Last week I ordered a case of prescription specialty canned food for my dog vs. going to our Vet for it weekly. Our dog had been having health issues and we were trying all we could to get him better. The food arrived in 36 hours, on Thursday Aug. 13th. Unfortunately our dog died the next day. I emailed Chewy to inquire if I could return the unopened case of food for a refund. Andrea responded promptly with such kind sympathy, refunded the money to my card and told me not to worry about a return. She shared I might donate the food to a local animal shelter in my dog's name; which I will. And I will support Chewy if we get another furbaby in the future. I was so pleased with their care and sympathy during a heartbreaking time for us, and will recommend Chewy to anyone!

I almost vomited when I open the box containing the Florentine collections, 3 boxes were open and loaded with maggots, this is now every month I have problem with the way they pack, it is just awful, I wish they improve cause am getting tired 😓. It’s very convenient the delivery but I hate the way they pack.
