I have ordered several items through chewy.com and LOVE this site!! Typically, I order and have my package within 2 days, except when my order requires a prescription approval (you have to wait for your vet to ok). The med I order are typically received within 4-5 days. Would definitely recommend this site!!

I live in NYC, so trying to carry big cases/ bags of food around is hard so I turned to Chewy to have everything delivered. They ship out everything so quickly and I've never had any issues! My last order that contained food for my cat had unfortunately been stolen by someone from my front steps and Chewy was able to replace the stolen items with no questions asked and I had my replacements within a few days! Even though the world is tough right now, this made me very happy.

I've been using Chewy.com for almost a year now getting products for my dog but most importantly the medicine I need for my dog which is vital for her survival. I set up an autoship for the medication so that I can have what I need, when i need it. However, in the past several months (about4) I had experienced delays from the pharmacy department that I can only explain as being incompetent. The reasons i've been given lately are ...they were waiting for a script from my vet , they ran out of the medication, they are preparing for ship. Even when they have the medication and script on hand, they can't process and ship in a timely manner. I've had to call each month because of some delay/excuse and sometimes multiple times. I don't know if they are short handed due to covid-19 but I can't have such delays on medication that is vital to my dog. I don't understand why they don't prepare ahead of time for autoships so the shipment can go out on it's due date without me having to call several times with weeks of delays to get my medicine. On the positive side, other products (non pharmacy) has been spot on and quick to ship.

I never write reviews because I just don’t put the time aside to write one but I wanted to write one this time because I felt like they earned it. I have been a customer of Chewy for years. I buy a lot of food, toys, bedding, tick/flea treatments from them because they are often cheaper than Petsmart/Petco and have 1-2 day shipping. I always get free shipping because I buy at least $60 worth of stuff each time. Even if you do pay for shipping the items arrive quickly and I never have an issue with quality or damages. What made me want to write this review was from a plug in water fountain I bought recently from them that had great reviews and cost me about $30. I bought it for me 2 cats and after about 1.5-2 weeks of attempting to get my cats to drink from it they were still too terrified so I decided to just give up and go back to a regular water bowl. I contacted Chewy to simply find out if I was able to return the item and get a refund despite using it. Without any hesitation, I was contacted by a man named Marcus and he was fully happy to help me and issued me the refund immediately after he received my message. He refunded me for the extra filters I bought too. In addition, he said “feel free to donate the fountain to a local animal shelter or to anyone who might want a water fountain for their pet” instead of having me ship it back to them. I’m not sure if that was for customer convenience or maybe it wasn’t worth having to sanitize it to resell it (I don’t know) but I was very pleased in the level of cooperative customer service I received and wanted everyone to know that Chewy is a great company. This is why I continue to be a customer because they show they care and are willing to work with you. I also bought a feeder a while ago that came broken and after sending a message to ask for a replacement, they sent me a replacement 1-2 days later without any additional cost and told me to just keep the one I had that was broken (the lid was cracked). Overall I have been happy with my interactions with Chewy.

While reading through a few of the reviews - I saw that a customer was complaining about receiving multiple packages with smaller items that could be in one package. Unfortunately, my issue is the exact opposite. Chewy continues to pack my 20+ pound cat litter with the plastic cat treat containers and canned food for my little cats. Which...would be fine if the 20+ pound cat litter didn't destroy the plastic containers or pop open the cans every single time. Now I'll be on the phone for the next few days trying to get the order replaced...or refunded, yet again. Get your stuff together Chewy. I'm tired of wasting money on you guys.

Absolute worst customer service. I’ve ordered from chewy for years and now I know; if I ever have even the most simple problem: do not to email chewy customer service (each email you send trying to communicate about whatever will go to a different person every time and they will run you in circles). Do not speak to a representative, just go straight to a supervisor to resolve the issue (unless you want to be talked down to, laughed at, told it’s your problem, and get no where). Chewy customer representatives are so rude, unhelpful, assure you their supervisor will get you no further than they have but, they will.

I have been with chewy for a long time, this company is very compassionate about you and your pet. You will not find another caring company like them. They are the best.

Poor customer experience during COVID. They do not care about your furry loved ones. They lack care and truly only care about the money. Was a loyal customer for years but now will never use them for anything. I am going to use local companies that care.
