Customer service is the best. I am always ordering online - I rarely make returns, but that's where you really understand what makes good customer service. I had an issue with an order on Chewy - it took me all of about 2 minutes to connect with someone via chat, explain the issue and receive a refund.

I called Chewy customer service to discuss an autoship order I received. The call went right to a human, I was so surpised it took me a mintue to answer her back. I explained I had received an order I did not want right now. The customer service rep refunded my money and cancelled my autoship order. I had made two accounts with two different emails due to an email change on my part. She fixed that too by cancelling the old account. The money was refunded right away within 2 business days. I have enjoyed using Chewy because of their low prices and next day delivery but this customer service experience has gained them a forever customer. Thanks Chewy! You rock!

I have had two experiences with Chewy.com. Both times I had ordered tick prevention medication needed for my dog. Because these medications need a prescription, they ask at checkout whether you want to provide a prescription from your vet that you obtain yourself or have Chewy contact your vet directly to obtain the prescription. They recommend that chewy contacts your vet directly claiming that this is the faster option and that this will be easier for you as the customer. Thinking that this would be faster and hassle-free, I naively selected this option. Instead, I soon found myself to be the middleman...calling chewy first who said that they never received the prescription and told me to call the vets office. I then called the vets office confirmed that they sent the prescription days ago. Back again I went calling chewy to confirm they received the fax. The first time, I made 3 calls to chewy and 2 calls to the vets office and finally the prescription went through and the medication was shipped to me. The second time, I was the last straw. I made three calls to chewy and two calls to the vet. My vet sent the prescription over to chewy on November 6th...on November 16th chewy claimed they “never received” the faxed prescription. I made the appropriate calls with my vet, saying they re-sent the prescription over promptly. The next day, I get an email saying that my order has been cancelled because they never received my prescription! I called chewy one last time and they stated that they can take a verbal order from the vet but I would have to re-order the medication online from their website to start the process all over again! I will never waste my time with this company again. Making their customers act as the middleman to fix their incompetent mistakes is a poor business model. The fact that this same thing happened to me not once, but twice, shows that this is the common poor practice of this company.

I cannot say enough about this company. First, they are terrific with their autoship service. Second, I recently had my fur baby pass away and they were so kind. He was on arthritis meds, which they had sent on my autoship the same day as he passed away. I called to see if I could send them back for a refund. They said dispose of them, then they proceeded to refund the entire amount! Also, I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers expressing their condolences. This company is exceptional and I will continue to use them for my other fur babies.

Just want to thank Will for his compassion and ability to stop an autoship via Chewy pharmacy. My dog Petey died and Will was super efficient in helping me to stop the autoship. I really do appreciate you Chewy. ❤❤❤

I've been using Chewy for 2.5 years now. Do errors happen? Sometimes. I'll tell you though, they solve issues fast. You won't be mad long. I only wish every company had the same integrity as they do. Even during the height of the pandemic they were pulling through for their customers. Keeping us updated on shipping & product availability. I've heard a lot of wonderful stories about Chewy and families. I highly recommend Chewy if you have pets. The product reviews are very helpful. Even if you review something you may not be 100% pleased with they'll reach out to you. The auto ship is a nice feature as well. Yes, their business platform and personal touch is something all internet based companies should use as an example. Thank you Chewy!

Chewy used to be great. Now not so much. Been on the phone several times with them and the shipper and never got my order. After escalating the issue never got a call back. Than they said they sent a refund but was not reflected in my statement. Extremely disappointing!!

We have found that Chewy has the fastest shipping ever. Each time we order, it comes in very very quickly!! We have had excellent service and delivery and this is always our first pick on where to shop. Thank you Chewy for your wonderful service!!!
