I’ve been using chewy for 4 years now to get my dogs food and my 2 cats food. I’ve never had any issues until recently, they stopped notifying me before they sent autoshipments like they used to. For the 3rd time now they have just sent me food and charged my card without confirming with me first like they used to. And then when I try to cancel it they say it’s too late even though I try to cancel the order before it’s even shipped. Chewy makes getting pet supplies easier but now that petco does autoship I will be ordering from them instead because they always notify me a couple days in advance to make sure I still need this order. Customer service is not helpful at all. They said they would cancel one time and still shipped the food to me and charged me for it.

I have been using them for a couple of years now along with a similar place near my house. I really think chewy has the best prices. And I have no idea how but they got my package to me within a week! I put the wrong address and they had no issue redirecting the package and still got it to me on the expected day. They are amazing! This stuff is for animals people need to not be so upset about things. I have read negative reviews and I just do not believe and have never experienced those things with chewy. Chewy is great. Their items are great. The prices are great and their business is great too! Best pet store I've come across

Disgusting. This is the second time in a matter of weeks that they sent me a seriously damaged, open spoiled box of cat food. I take care of a feral colony and gave three cats of my own so before now, I have given a LOT of business and money to Chewy. No more. When it happened a few weeks ago, the box was dented and wrapped in tape. I counted eight cans that were either completely or half empty, dented, with green slime all over the box. Literally. Green slime. Spoiled rotten months old cat food. And it SMELLED. What kind of moron would try to sell something like that to a customer? I mean, it smelled BAD. Through the outside package. BAD. Then today? I opened a box, and ANOTHER case of cat food was open! Cans dented. Again. Food spilled in the box. Again. And this is not like damage during shipping. This is slimy, spoiled, cans that are busted open!!! Quality control anyone??? Gross. Except for my prescription cat food, Chewy had lost my business. They support the Fox Propaganda Network anyway, so now I'll give my hard-earned money to a company that doesn't support Fascism. And one that doesn't try to sell ROTTEN cat food to people!

Great customer service. Place you can really trust for all your needs for your lovely pets/furbaby at home. All their staff knows how to make you feel better when u need something for your pets. I lost my furbaby recently and they are there to make us feel better with all the sorrows in missing out furbaby. Thank you so much! I do recommend their supplies and all their products and their wonderful service to everyone 🥰🥰🥰

Shockingly poor experience. This is a website that sells pet supplies - but they NEVER ARRIVE! I've been trying to order a 6 month supply of heartworm medication and a 6 month supply of tick medication for my new puppy. It's been over a month and they still haven't sent the tick medication. The pharmacy keeps screwing it up blaming my vet. I happened to be with the vet when they verified the order the first time, so I know it's not them. Finally spoke with a supervisor today and she told me the people who keep incorrectly closing the order will be held accountable! How does that help me on my 4th phone call?! Appalling.

If I could give zero stars I would. The first few months ordering food during the pandemic was fine. My order was delivered directly to my door. Then one day it was left in the mail room, on a 6 foot shelf. A 25+ lb box left over my head. I am disabled and this was a danger to me. When I contacted them they said they'd fix it. They did not. They delivered other packages to the mail room instead of my door. Then they started saying I have to sign up for a FedEx account and I said no, I dont want another account. They work on a shipping model. FedEx is their partner and I'm guessing they are big enough business is to work it out and fix this problem with FedEx. Anyways, they start telling me I have to talk to FedEx. Sorry but no. If I wanted to deal with multiple vendors to get my dog food then I'd just as soon build my own dog food shipping company. Then today I tried one last time and got notification the delivery had been delivered. Of course it was not at my door so I suited up to protect myself from my neighbors and went down to the mail room and no package there either. I contact Chewy and they say "oh well sometimes they make it delivered while on the route. Give it until 10pm." Um no, I'm not going around searching my building at 10pm. Then another agent apologized and said that the cutoff was 8pm, but they went ahead and shipped a new shipment which, of course won't leave for days, and it will be another week before I get my order. If you are disabled and need to rely on your delivery being delivered to your door or at the least not put entirely out of reach, then skip Chewy. The service is terrible. They take no responsibility for their shipping. And they expect you to argue with FedEx, when that is their exclusive shipping partner. I cannot warn people away enough. I spoke to so many people and they just gave lip service and kept wasting my time.

Frustrating!! Twice they have lost my dogs prescription. The lady who answered the call is like "I cant help you" "What do you want me to do?" "If USPS lost your prescription it is not our fault." Absolutely no apology!! Bad experience Will not go back to them!

Absolutely fed to the teeth with Chewy's delivery. Apparently they use FedEx here, and after SEVERAL requests that they deliver to my door and NOT the complex's "package room" -- several different orders over several months, BTW -- either nobody can read the instructions or Chewy isn't bothering to add "DELIVER TO DOOR" to my order. Having deleted the app and cancelled my latest order (there are three boxes in the package room that I am not able to lift due to a medical condition), I will never shop with Chewy again.
