chewy offers incredible customer service and their prices are really hard to beat. in terms of price comparisons on items selling on chewy vs amazon, petco, or petsmart, chewy usually offers the lowest prices. i placed an order for terramycin (pres. eye drops) which was around $28 on amazon but i was able to get for significantly less on chewy, around $20. a unique (well appreciated) feature that they offer on the site is their online chat function which can be used for customer service or product related questions. the online chat is not the usually expected automated robot with autofill questions & responses. i was automatically connected & greeted with/by a chewy customer service rep and was able to finish my return in less than 3-4 minutes. returns are usually free and i'm not sure if it was due to covid-19 but the rep processed my return in full and i was expecting him to send a return label but instead he graciously requested for me to donate my unopened package of treats instead to a local shelter or pups in need, if possible. i can definitely see how important inventory is when it comes to returns, especially in these times but i was totally touched by the request regardless of whether their a big or small business. it was a totally great gesture on their part & is only a small fraction of the pros of shopping with them. if you're ever unhappy with any purchase, i know from previous experiences of shopping on chewy, that they make it super easy & quick to help remedy any issues. definitely will continue to purchase from them & will continue to highly recommend shopping with chewy!

Chewy has the most amazing customer service I have ever come across. For years now, as they have gotten more popular, they continually put customer satisfaction first and always have you donate instead of returning. 3 months after my beloved pet crossed the rainbow bridge, I asked how long a very expensive bag of food would last, and without asking, was issued an immediate refund ($65 for 17lb bag). The following day Crystal my csr, had flowers delivered to me in condolences for Bella. It was extremely moving that she went out of her way to show they truly care about our pets and not just all the money we spend.

OUTSTANDING!!!!! We’ve been using Chewy for years now and they’ve always been true to their word. But this recent experience made me a customer forever. We ordered dog food and in transit got damaged, so we never got it. Not only did they give us a credit for the amount we spent on buying food while we waited for the food to be re ordered and re delivered, but we unexpectedly received a bag of the same dog food at no charge. The original damage was not Chewy’s fault, and yet they still did what they did. I highly recommend using chewy for all your pet needs.

Ordered jackets for my dogs. Forgot to update shipping address and they got send to my old house states away. Called chewy and they immediately sent me new jackets at my new address priority shipping free of charge. When the jackets arrived they were too big so i asked to to a return. They refunded my money and told me to donate the jackets to the local shelter if i wanted! Best customer service i have ever interacted with. Thank you Chewy!

I have always loved Chewy and was so excited to become a more fully committed shopper when I got my pup in March. The reason why I give it 2 stars is because I am moving to Hawai'i soon and they do not ship outside of the main US. It was really a huge let down to know that I just switched to this amazing dog food and I was going to save so much but now I will have to switch yet again in such a short time because of their lack of commitment to the entire US. Not only do I have to change dog food after ordering just one bag because they don't ship out to HI, very few pet stores actually carry the brand. It's a shame that commitment is a one way street with Chewy. Granted, I should have looked into local pet stores where I'm moving but at the same time, I was not expecting Chewy to give us the cold shoulder and forget about us.

I would have given it 0 star if I could. Ordered pain medication for my dog with a torn acl. 13 days and never arrived. Call customer service and explained. First call she said I would have to wait for the package to get to me, return it and then when they received it, they would refund me. I flipped out , she said hold on let me see what I can do for you, laughed and hung up. The 2nd call the woman refunded me immediately. I can’t count on chewy to deliver my meds in a timely manner. Even if there was a shipping issue, the customer service compounded my troubles. I’ll look for another supplier and tell chewy “ let me see what I can do for you “ laugh and hang up. I’m done with you !

I LOVE Chewy! They have the BEST customer service. Every time I have called or messaged with a question they resolve it immediately. My cat is allergic to the food I had recently purchased and Chewy gave me a full refund and told me to donate it to a local shelter.
