I would give Chewy.com a 5 star except for one major problem. Do NOT say items will arive in 1-3 days when you know they will not. I have ordered 5 times now and one order took over a week..the next were all at least 5 days and I needed the package in the stated time due to food running low and knew my car was going in the shop the last time. I do not live anywhere near a store or bus in my area. Please adjust to say 3-5 day shipping, which is the truth. Other than that, good value and nice to have free shipping over $49.

Chewy has continued to impress me with their excellent customer service team. However they're training their employees, they're doing it right. For one, I've received a handwritten birthday card for my boy - two years in a row. Secondly, I ordered the wrong sized dog brush for my boy and not only did they give me a refund - they also told me to keep the brush and donate it to a pet shelter in need, even providing proof of donation receipt. I recommend Chewy to any pet owner.

I have had nothing but very good experience with Chewy. I have a Ragdoll who has IBS. He has to be on a special diet. I ordered a food by Ziwi in venison. He would not touch it. Customer Service was excellent . They were very accommodating and very helpful. I highly recommend Chewy for your furry babies.

Ordered 3 items online and the full amount came out of my bank account right after I confirmed my purchase online. 2 days later I wake up to another charge to my bank card and when I looked they charged me again for 2 of the 3 items that were being shipped today. Was told it was a temporary charge. If I paid in full why are you charging my bank again without my consent for items I already purchased.

They are always significantly behind schedule on shipping, so much so that they should begin to compensate for the terribly late deliveries. It is a matter of poor logistics and lackluster protocol.

The people who work there are the most inept people I have ever had to deal with. For the last three weeks I have been trying to get a prescription filled. Always an excuse they have not received the prescription from the Vet. Then they cancel the order. Two days later they send me an email saying the order is approved and for me to complete the order online. I go to place the order and I am unable to do so. I then call Chewy's and the representative says she will complete the order and I should receive it the following week. The following week I receive another email stating the order is cancelled because they have been unable to receive the prescription. I called again and got some BS from the representative stating they are waiting again for the fax from the vet. I have no intention of ever ordering from them again.

Placed an order and also changed my address. I was insured they had the correct address. They still sent it to the wrong address after confirming that they had the right one. Called to find out where my order was and it take another four days to receive it. A very bad experience. I don't plan to use them again.

They sat on my order for several days after the vet had approved the prescription food I had ordered. I contacted their online customer service agents and they acted like angry teenage girls. The first one was rude and kept acting like we were disconnecting when we clearly weren't. She finally pretended like she couldn't see my responses and disconnected us. I logged back in and tried again, this customer service agent disconnected with me immediately after I asked about my order and gave her the order number. The third time the agent was pleasant and gave me obvious cut and pasted responses, which answered none of my questions. And I was basically told they had no idea where my order was or if it had shipped. It finally turned up 3 days later. Apparently Fedex had picked up but not scanned in the item. Hence the reason nobody had any idea what happened to my order. Will never do business with them again. Mistakes happen, that I can forgive. Their horrible, rudeness when inquiring about the order after they had taken my money was completely unacceptable. I find these glowing reviews of them suspect as this kind of thing seems to be common with this company.
