Giant shoutout to Chewy.com! Certainly the very best customer service ever in pet supplies! My last order consisted of items for our new addition that I ended up not needing, it wasn’t just a few bucks! They don’t want it back they just credited my account and said to donate it! How awesome is that? They also send out birthday cards and sympathy cards! In addition their prices are very competitive always lower than those other companies! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for pet food or other items! A new puppy owner and known responsible Catlady

Going downhill fast. This week alone one order not delivered, two had open bags of dog food in the boxes. A few months back they packed the box so full the cat food cans were smashed and two had come open. Not sure what has happened but service and quality is going way down while their prices go up.

We have a rescue kitty who will only drink moving water. We eventually tired of her tripping us on the way to the bathroom when she was thirsty. We ordered a Drinkwell fountain from Chewy. It was delivered on May 7th. We had been gone overnight this past Tuesday and when we got home Wednesday, the fountain had stopped. No idea how long the kitten had been without water. I immediately fired off a very displeased email to Chewy. That was Wednesday. It is now noon on Friday and a brand new Drinkwell fountain was just delivered. Zero problems, zero questions asked...just stellar and uber fast customer service. Thank you, Chewy! We are absolutely grateful customers. :)

A few weeks ago we called Chewy to cancel an automatic delivery of prescription medication because we had to put our dog to sleep. We were so surprised to receive a beautiful bouquet of a dozen colorful roses shipped to us by Chewy with a card expressing their condolences along with a coupon. When it came time to order puppy food for our new puppy, we had the choice of Amazon and Chewy and chose to buy with Chewy. Even if they would not have been cheaper than Amazon (which they were) we would have chosen Chewy. The thought meant a lot to us and we even saved a dried rose to put with sweet Teka’s ashes.

Chewy once gave me my money back for a food item that did not agree with my dog- cans of dog food. I agreed to donate them to an animal shelter which I did. Their customer service answers IMMEDIATELY all the time. They now have free vets to calm you/guide you through what may be wrong with your dog. The only bad part is that I'm sad they don't approve typical monthly medications like Nexgard and Interceptor but they are working on getting vets. I love Chewy- they are so friendly. One time they actually sent me a Christmas card. I would recommend to anyone!

I saw they had a sale and bought some products that were a waste of time. On the way, I gave them some personal info. Not shopping here anymore. And after learning about how hackers can use the lesser security of systems of retailers, I saw that I have an account with them. Perfectly logical to tell a business, I'm not interested, delete my account, right? Not this one. I talked to a supervisor, Karen, and first she said can't delete it, we never delete accounts. But it IS inactive. Then she said it's deleted cuz it's inactive. I just wanted to think I am protecting my privacy. Not with this company.

Have shopped at and auto filled from Chewy.com for 4 years plus. This last last I’ve had a hit or miss service. We ordered meds for my senior dog to deliver to an air bnb, Chewy.com emailed to advise us it wouldn’t be delivered because there was a problem with address. But continued to charge us for it. Followed up, they just claimed it was delivered. The next time they we’re careless was when they delivered an empty box! It was not damaged or resealed. They failed to pack it. Reported, and they did what they are good at. Ignore you until you stop following up. This third time the delivery didn’t turn up, not even an empty box. Reported, and all they reply with is “it was delivered” We are stuck without the meds for my senior dog and we are out of pocket again. Don’t let their marketing fool you. They do care about their customers or our pets. Be prepared when something goes wrong, they will ignore you until you give up. I will no longer shop with them. I’m done.

I have been a customer of chewy for as long as they have been around. From the very first order I have had nothing but great experiences. For one thing the variety of items that they carry is unsurpassed. It's much easier to take your time and look at everything at your own pace and make decisions after seeing every available option. I take my time because my monthly order is usually in excess of 600 because we take care of so many animals. And that is after narrowing my order down from what I wanted to be. Things have been really hard since our business has been forced to close all those months but chewy is the best option financially for us. No matter how rough things can get for us financially it is not an option to feed our animals low-grade food that's less expensive. I was told years ago that it's like feeding your animal McDonald's all the time. I've had some great luck with animals and I've always fed them high quality food. I had an indoor cat that lasted 27 years and my doberman is now 16 which is the oldest of all my rescue Dobermans. I'm convinced that their longevity is in part due to their diet. We were thrilled when chewy came out with their own brand called American journey. I have never seen my dogs enjoy their food this much. They love it love it love it and it seems fresher than the other brands that we were paying much more. We have made a complete switch to American journey and are saving about $60 a month but not sacrificing the quality food. We also have had many instances where we've had to contact customer service and every one of those times it was because FedEx made a mistake. Every single one of those times without question the issue was immediately corrected and we were made whole and then some. Another great thing is when you do call customer service they are knowledgeable employees that communicate well and are sincerely interested in your animals and their welfare. You don't get put on an endless hold or get wrapped up in some automated system. Somebody actually comes to the phone to speak to you. I have had to call with questions about different products specific to my type of dog and they have been able to help and if I ever have a problem it's corrected in the blink of an eye. I will never purchase my animals needs elsewhere. We get our dog food cat food dog bones cat treats dog treats all the way to animal furniture from chewy. It's also amazing how quickly you get your order. My most recent order came the very next day after I placed the order. I also have never had to pay for shipping due to the cost of the items I order I think. I highly recommend this company to every pet owner. You cannot go wrong
