An ongoing issue is placing an order for things showing in stock then receiving an email when order is being filled that items are not in stock. Process needs to be updated to pull from inventory when an order is placed instead of when it’s being filled!

When my dog "Buddy" passed away in October, Chewy sent a beautiful bouquet of mixed flowers and was able to credit my account for the last prescriptions that I received. I really couldn't ask for a better company to do business with and once I rescue my next best friend (dog) I will use Chewy again.

I was having a problem with payment on the app. I called customer service, and I think her name was alisha (maybe felica) was the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, I have EVER had, or even witnessed. She was VERY kind, polite and personal. I don't know if you'll see this girl, but you do an AMAZING job. Keep hiring people like her and you guys will never get complaints about customer service. That woman is great!!!

Chewy is awesome! They're contracted shipping company is terrible (FedEx). Delivery scheduled for Dec. 19th (I was out of town). Paid for a delivery change. Every day since they state it will be delivered the next day. It's Dec. 23rd and no package. FedEx has not been responsive. I've spent the last 3 days at home for a package while my holiday errands remain undone.

Great customer service!!! I ordered a quiet wheel for my hamster, but unfortunately, it was a little too big to fit in her cage. I contact and ask if I can return it. They refunded me right away and ask me to donate the wheel. I will be donating the wheel to and 100% recommending this site to my friends!

This is on Chewy as well as Zoo Med. I bought two Tropical UVB & Heat Lighting kits to start. After describing some concern over flickering a member of Chewy sent me one to replace the one in question, without me asking for it which is cool. Not cool however is after that one lamp had a side stop working completely. The 2nd one failed, the replacement spins the fixture in place and will not tighten. So Chewy sends an additional 2, one spun a little but tightened. The thing is while I waited for 4 and 5 I noticed something odd. This product is supposed to have 60 watt blue bulbs right? Well guys the one in the box is zoo med but it isn’t the right wattage. Number 4 and 5 came with the correct watt, funny those lamps work. Tell me how these passed quality control because there is a sticker saying it did. I contact Chewy who says that Zoo Med is responsible for the packing of the product and says they will contact Zoo Med to find the problem. I still haven’t heard from them about it so I make contact myself. After some digging they were honest and told me they used the lower watt bulb to finish some kits because they were out of the right ones. There is no indication there has been a change of this kits contents. They don’t understand how I could get this many kits with problems. They had me sent requested photos and told me no visible problems with the lamps but there is with the bulbs. Now we all know these things are hard to screw in and it is the bulbs in my case. Part of the bulb is squashed on the part you screw in, the threads basically have extra material on some and threads that don’t line up with the fixture. I was told to be careful when screwing them in so I don’t cause ware on the fixture thus causing it to spins etc. These lamps are knowingly sent out with the wrong contents, the bulbs are faulty but I’m told to use them anyway. I call all products in to question now, both companies. This is false advertising of broken, cheap, and all around scam. This is dangerous! I’m encouraged to use this in a way that is a hazard. I’m happy with customer support on both sides since they tried to replace them and were honest about the dirty practices. Do Not buy this and perhaps even their other products. I’m disgusted by these selling scams. Obviously they know this product is bad, look at these reviews over the years and my experiences now. No attempts to fix it really shows how much they care about not only the pets safety but ours as well. I’m honestly surprised how they remain in business and haven’t been sued. Oh, and I tried to warn people on Chewy but it won’t let me edit my original post and suddenly it says error every time I attempt to post a new one.
