The shipping is the issue, I live in a semi-rural area. Chewy.com is good, but they seriously need to fix the way they ship there product locally. I should had known better from the first order i had with them back in August 2021. I placed the order, five days later some homeless looking dude in a old beat up creepy white van shows to deliver. It’s Chewy’s delivery system that is bad.

First order from them, was 1-2 day shipping. Five days later, the shipment was "delayed" and customer service couldnt tell me anything. They asked if I wanted a refund, I said yes. They said they couldn't refund me until their product was returned. WHAT? I don't have your product, give me my money back. They said it would be refunded is 3-5 business days. Hasn't happened yet, nor was their 1-3 shipping.

Recently ordered a patped training collar for my wandering Labrador. This product is great and worked very quickly for him. No more wondering, he stays in the yard.

Chewy delivered on time for about 6 mos. All good. Suddenly, this time, at Christmas, they claimed my address was incorrect and couldn’t deliver. Hmm. My address has not changed; why the problem? After many calls/emails, no answers, just cheery platitudes. I spoke to customer service and their supervisors and their supervisors and so on… Now, they say dog food will be shipped several days late…well, before, I used to count on autoship, so today, I ran out of dog food. I had to go on a Petsmart/ Petco odyssey to find the right stuff in the interim. Oh Chewy! Why not just email me to say you couldn’t get it together to deliver in time? No, guess it’s up to me to call you. I’m done, will be finding another vendor that I can count on. So disappointed.

DONE WITH THIS COMPANY. I have been ordering from Chewy for the past 2 years, using autoship. There have been times when deliveries have been late, or come on separate days. These things can happen, However they started packing the cases of cat food in the same box as the paper bags of pigeon feed. So here is the IQ test, when pointed corner of box gets shaken around with paper bag during shipping the out come is....yes the bag is broken and the pigeon seed is spilling out of the shipping box. The Chewy packers did not pass that test, ever. I called about the issue, customer service told me they would try to get the warehouse to package the items seperatly because together it was too heavy for me. OK whatever. This month I recieved 3 packages. the cat food was in perfect shape. The pigeon seed did not arrive, I gave it a few extra days, it is the holidays, I tracked and it said I had to get in touch with chewy to resolve the issue. Customer Service informed me they were now out of the pigeon feed, so they will refund my money, sorry for the inconvinence, sounds great except now I have to scramble to find pigeon feed. I lost it, it's not just about inconvinence, it's about caring for and feeding animals. It is currently 19 degrees out, and I can't let them go without food for 1 day. For all the PR Chewy doesn't really give a crap about animals or the people who are responsible for them. SHAME ON YOU CHEWY

Chewy did not treat me right, and all patrons will be affected by their money hungry attitude. They give % of money off of new clients, but to the established clients nothing. Once they have you as a long term purchaser they expect that they can treat you without respect. I emailed them and my response from them was snarky, and told me that I should shop at another, petmeds is going to get my business.

Chewy has always been my go-to for pet food, supplies, and treats. They offer great deals, and even if prices are a little more expensive than amazon, I'll still choose chewy. Over the past five years, they've shown a lot of character. They've sent me hand written christmas cards, and customer service has always been patient and helpful. I don't have a bad thing to say, and I am more than happy to keep buying from them!

I had a horrible experience, I ordered an item and was told it would be to me in 3 days, then I recieved a call on day 3 stating they needed additional information to process order. I gave them the information they needed. The 2 hrs later recieved a call that they needed to talk with my husband because I was using a credit card in his name. I order online almost daily from different suppliers, I will not order from them again. The only reason I ordered to begin with was because we thought we would get the time before we left to go out of town 5 days later, we will not be getting the order in time. I will not recommend them to any one, and there prices are higher than you will find at other dealers. When you are spending almost 400 dollars on one item I expect better customer service.
