I recently ordered from them when 1800PetMeds decided to double their prices for one medication my pet is on. Was $60 and now is $120 so went to Chewy.com and and they had a lot of problems to get in contact with the Vet and yet I never have problem to contact the vet and then they said the vets licencs on file was expired and yet the Vet Receptionist said they just sent on over several medications to Chewy for this Vet and No problem however not sure why my order had to be greatly delayed. Not only that when I log back into Chewy.com I see they too doubled the price for this medication. Makes me feel like they really wanted to delete my order because they used lame reasons to try so hard to cancel my order in my opinion. Their online chat is super easy and someone jumps on chat right away. I am not happy with the medication doubling in price. Its not fair. I doubt the cost to these companies is double. I bet this company is owned by 1800 PetMeds.com because they are both located in Florida.

I have used Chewy for years as we had 5 cats at one point. They are consistent with good selection, great prices & super quick shipping. Over the years we were down to just 2 cats & within the past month they both passed as they were elderly & ill. My husband called to see if there was a way to return the bags of special cat litter we had, not really thinking that we could. The representative was so kind & expressed her condolences regarding or loss. She said to donate the cat litter to a shelter & she would credit us for the cost. Super impressed with the kindness of this company & if we have pets in the future would 100% use them again. Donated cat litter & also made monetary donation to the North Shore Animal League. Have used Chewy for several years. They have been reliable and more inexpensive than most companies for pet food and cat litter. We also use their pet pharmacy and have been happy until a week ago. Being able to depend on receiving my pet's medications on time is vital to my pet's health. When one of my pet's meds was unavailable and backordered, I received no email, no notice that I would not receive the medication. I ran out of the medication and had to resort to a different, less than optimal, medication. I am now ordering my pet's meds through another company, and will no longer use Chewy for my pets' meds.

Up until today, I wouldn’t have said much negative about Chewy. I buy the Tylees chicken treats, which are good treats. They went up in price from 14$ a bag to 24$ a bag!!! And their response was they are competing with the market!! So they obviously don’t care about their customers!! Hopefully no one else will pay that price either, and they priced themselves rite outa the market!! That’s totally ridiculous!!!

OMG......What is wrong with this so called company...no, seriously...outsourced? Aren't their computers linked together so all employees KNOWS what is going on, here, I'll answer my own question, NO....when you call in, chat...don't care HOW you get hold of Chewy, they have to start over each time, I tried ordering Animax Ointment....its in stock, try to order, OH, its not in stock, call again, ITS IN STOCK, no, oooops out of stock...then I get an email ANIMAX OINTMENT is now in stock ,call to order immediately, OH, it out of stock....GOD....what in the hell is wrong with this company, going to Face Book ask around to see who else they order from...I know people are paid to leave good reviews....sad day in hell...

Website says you when you need a vet authorization that you should have it ready to upload at checkout. This actually isn't an option on their site. So I went to the vet and got a vet authorization for nothing. At checkout I notice the price is $23 more than off the shelf at a local store, WELL above MSRP. So I wasted my time going to the vet, wasted my time registering on their site, wasted my time filling out a pet profile, and all I got for my efforts was free email spam. It's frustrating when a website doesn't even have the features they tell you to use in the instructions. Imagine how many other people are closing out their cart and heading back to the store as well, and I'm a 25+ year web designer. I can only imagine how many normal people get annoyed way before I did and closed out their cart. You're also collecting WAY too much information about peoples pets. The only reasonable explanation for the amount of information you ask for to buy a chew toy is if you're selling the information to third party marketing lists.

We lost our dog, Riley, this month and I called to cancel a reoccurring prescription and not only did they refund me my money, but sent me flowers from a local flower shop with a thoughtful note. That was very thoughtful and selfless. That just goes to show what kind of company chewy is! Thank you Taylor and the Chewy staff Your service is superb

I received a surprise from the company Chewy yesterday! I called to ask if I could return Abbey’s prescription dog food which was kind of expensive. Not only did they refund me for the 2 cases, rather than return the food, they told me to donate the food to a shelter. Then I received a beautiful bouquet of roses and a sympathy card from 2 special ladies at Chewy! I’m a bit blown away at how much they cared and what they did in response to our losing Abbey. Needless to say, we will be Chewy customers for life! 🐕 💕
